So You Think You're Turning Into a Chayzard: An Instructive Guide for Proper Living as a Burn Lizard

Other Persons Turning Into Chayzards Are Welcome To Use This Post As Well. We'll get together a regular Conflagration of Charizards (Is that the collective noun? It seems as if it should be.).

Yes good idea, ignore the kid who was flyawa---

Oh wait no, now that giant fly's suddenly pretty much in his face, towering even the grandest of giant Charizards. And on top, a kid who's much smaller, with one hand on fire. At least he's not attacking yet, but he's certainly...watching him.

[maxizard]

Max has probably had enough of fighting every other charizard at school this week. Some random kid shows up with a hand on fire (good idea, using fire against a charizard, kid) riding on a giant, ugly bug.

Keep on watching him. Max is master of this situation. Riding on a giant ugly bug with a flaming hand or not, you're still a kid. And Max isn't going to fly off the handle and attack some kid he doesn't even know.

[Well at least you pass the not stupidly attacking him test! That's good...if a little disappointing. Without you being a real threat to the school, he doesn't have much of an excuse to attack the giant flying lizard so he just...waves?]

Well okay then. The charizard nods at you.

[And lo, this continues for a while, at least until Naoki spots a place to land and his ride disappears in another burst of light. Now there's only him and his bright tattoos.]

Well, whatever, this weird kid is leaving him alone. Max might as well land and say something to him. The charizard took a graceful dive to the earth and landed on his feet. There was a sudden poof, and instead of the lizard, there's a 6'8" wall of muscles, douchebag tattoos, and orange hair.

"You got somethin' you wanna say to me or was that just your way of sayin' hi?"

He shrugged, while a new figure peeked from behind him, sitting on his shoulder. Naoki didn't even seem daunted by the other's girth or muscle or size.

"Oh he looks pretty strong! You should form a contact with this demon!"

Sorry Max, it seemed you were being classified without your permission. At least it was a compliment?

Max stared at the little fairy thing that was talking.

"I ain't a demon, I'm just a guy who got turned into a charizard for awhile. I'm already under contract with Orange Star and this place anyway."

She didn't seem fazed by him at all and just tapped her lip in curiosity. This guy was far more interesting than most humans around here. Although things had become pretty interesting lately.

" What do you mean turned? Are you under a curse too like that Chili guy? And what's Orange Star?

[maxizard]

"Normally I ain't a charizard, but sometimes these things happen, and you turn into a pokemon for a week or two," explained Max to the tiny floaty thing. Because this was now Max's sixth time being a pokemon. "It might be a curse, yeah. And Orange Star's my country. Where I'm from. I'm a CO in the Orange Star Army."

"Oh so you're a leader! Not bad, not bad. Orange Star's a strange name, but I guess some Multiverses must be really weird. As ins this place. It sometimes reminds me of the Vortex world, just with less dead humans."

Yeah, let's just casually toss out that multiverses were an accepted thing that Naoki knew about. But let's talk about important things now.

"So if you lead an army, how good do you and they fight?" She tossed a wink at him, and Naoki stood up a little straighter. Yes fighting. Let's talk about that.

[maxizard]

He was going to say something about that 'dead humans' quip, but then she asked him how awesome he was, and Max was happy to oblige with that tidbit of information.

"My troops are the best ones in Orange Star. Direct combat POW," said Max, happy to be able to share how awesome he was. "My troops are number one at tanks, bombers, fighters, submarines and battle copters."

At that, the Pixie looked positively delighted and clamped her hands together, beaming.

"Oh that sounds pretty powerful for humans!" She beamed at Naoki. " Let's take them on, Hitoshura!"

Yes let's...wait. We're these two really excited about the idea of fighting an entire army single-handedly?

[maxizard]

"Wait, what?" Max said, staring at them. "No, that ain't gonna happen. I ain't sendin' men in to fight a little fairy thing and a guy on a giant bug just 'cause they want to fight 'em."

The Pixie gave a very dark look before answering, "Oh I'm sure we can give them a reason--" but thankfully she was delicately grabbed by the collar by Naoki who shook his head at her....although he did look admittedly disappointed. He'd never fought against a tank before, that could have been fun. Damn demonic blood making him want to do that at all...

"Tch. Still think you should have gone all demon, AND I AM NOT LITTLE!" she told him, sticking out her tongue at both him and Max before crossing her arms and turning her back to the Orange Star CO to pout on the Demi-fiend's shoulder. "This place is boring, no one wants to fight us." For his part Naoki give him a small shrug again. He did like being at peace again, that's what he,d been fighting for.

"Are you talkin' with each other usin' magic or somethin'?" Max asked. "It's sorta rude to leave a guy out of the conversation the two of you are havin'."

"No he's just a stupid face that doesn't talk very much," Pixie offered him, still not looking at either men.

Well...that explained everything?!

[maxizard]

"So he's talkin' to you with his eyes?" Max asked, continuing to not get it.

She sighed dramatically. "...you're pretty dumb aren't you?" Yes, she was that rude.

Naoki for his part, facepalmed, then pushed her with one finger.

"Hey! Stop that! I guess we just have an understanding. I've been with him long enough to know what's happening."

[maxizard]

"She's kind of a dick," Max responded, upping his grumpy level up a couple of notches.
