A totally NOT DATE date

Who: GLaDOS and Gordon Freeman
What: Lunch and other non-romantic activities.
Where: Downtown
When: Backdated to the 27 of December.
Warnings: Copious amounts of science.

Today was the big day...if you could call a free meal and hopefully nothing more a big day. After freeing a certain Physics teacher from the clutches of an evil mistletoe, said Physics teacher and the AI herself had planned a little lunch together as payment for his freedom. While GLaDOS couldn't give two shits about other people, she was willing to change that philosophy if it benefited her in some way. Sure, she hated this humanoid body with a passion, but it had its perks. For example; taste was certainly an interesting sensation in its own right. Usually it was a pleasant one. And besides, the body needed energy. So yeah, free food from an expensive restaurant sounded close enough to a fair trade.

Despite being fives minutes early, the computer teacher was standing around Final Destination square all bundled up. Being on time was very important, even for simple things like this. Sure, GLaDOS was annoyed at having to wait outside with all these smelly humans, but at least the weather was tolerable.

"He better show up soon. I'm getting tired of waiting." said GLaDOS, the master of patience. She had already waited a whooping...three minutes. God forbid she wait any more...

Sorry, GLaDOS, Gordon has a history of being late to things. At least it's only by a few minutes this time. Dressed against the cold himself, he lopes her way from across the square, under the statue in the center.

"Ah, there you are." Gordon, don't try to imply that you spent a long time looking for her. You're still panting a little from your run from the bus station.
