Where: Off-campus restaurant. AND BEYOND!

[The third group has been given directions to a well-known fancy restaurant at the heart of the city. The dining room is not as intimate as the others, but still has a pleasant atmosphere. There's quiet music playing overhead. The menu leans towards upscale, contemporary French/American food. It seems expensive, but that's not worth worrying about. Someone else will be covering the meal, right?

It might have been smart to dress nice- but not too nice- for your date. At least that's what Gold suggested!

There's a candle at every table. Beside each candle, there is a card. On each card, there is a different letter-number combination.

[Marisa didn't really care who she was going to end up with. The whole point of this was to see what would happen. Meeting new people was kind of a thing she wanted, but honestly this was just for shits and giggles. She sat at the table and waited for who would be meeting her here.]

[Jon, however, was apprehensive. Last time he'd been shoved into one of these get togethers, he'd at least met Eli. And Eli was awesome. She was a fighter and she was tough and that was awesome. This time, he had no guarantee that he wasn't going to get someone awesome.

Oh. It was... a magical... girl. Looking thing. Ah. Blonde and bubbly and wasn't this a treat?]

[How did this happen again? Snake couldn't even remember the invitation or why he'd accepted it, but when he looked back on it, he had to assume that it probably happened on a night that he'd fell asleep with his face in a bar counter. This was probably karma biting him in the accentuated ass.

It was too late to back out now, though. He was somewhat dressed up, and even if he'd wanted to, there was always the possibility of his date being a beautiful woman. He really could have used one of those.

Or two. Or five.]

Aquenda wasn't sure how she ended up being signed up for blind dates, but she was too curious to turn the offer down. It was a good way to get to know one of her classmates better, if nothing else! She just... really hoped she didn't make some kind of cultural faux pas at some point. This whole thing was kind of unheard of for Tauren in general.

It took her a few minutes of peeking at the cards on each table, but eventually she located the one she'd been told to go to. And there was already someone there.]

Oh... Um, hello!

[She'd seen this guy with her roommate sometimes, right? Sometimes it was hard to tell humans apart, but she wasn't going to say that out loud.]

So, he hadn't signed up for this. But frankly? After all the heavy stuff going on lately he could use something a little more lighthearted. These had always been fun in years past, so, Crazy Hand's involvement or no, he'd try and enjoy himself.

He took a seat, drained half his water cup and started looking over the menu to see what was going on for food.

[Flurrie didn't care much for the decor but she was looking forward to an enjoyable evening nonetheless. Of course she was already taken, but this was all in good fun, after all, wasn't it? She would just put this one down as dinner with a friend. As to who that friend would be, that was still a mystery.]

[There was no way Kyle would ever be caught dead at one of these places, and as such he didn't look very pleased about being there. Not that he ever looked very pleased to begin with, but come on he didn't sign up for this in any way, shape, or form.

He had every intention of waiting for his "mystery date" to show up, letting her down gently (well, as gently as someone like him can handle this crap), and then getting the heck out of there. There were more important things he could be doing, like... uh... Not going on a blind date. He picked up a menu and squinted at it to kill some time, but man, he couldn't read half of it.]

OhhHHhHHHhh jeez it had been so long since the last time he ever went on a date. 30 years is a long break. He was definitely rusty on this. Breath mints? Check. Killer smile? Chemaybe. Disregarding dress code? Check, oh wait, that's probably not such a good thing.

And definitely flighty as all getout. Flighty in everything but the wings, of course.

Pit sat at his unoccupied table tapping polished wood and swinging his legs to and fro like a kid waiting for a roller coaster to start, humming the music off-key to serve as a distraction. Every time someone passed his heart picked up a quick beat. It wasn't that he was shy about meeting someone new, it was that he was shy about meeting someone new who was supposed to be on a date with him. He wasn't sure how he could deal with it if they were someone especially pretty or charming but he also remembered having terrible dates with a girl who was actually an unruly trouble-causing duplighost. Maybe this time his date wouldn't be a complete fake?

Once again, the Hands had somehow forced Byrne into doing this annoying blind date thing. At least last year Byrne had been paired with someone tolerable, and he hoped that this year would yield similar results. He just wanted to get this whole thing over with, collect his free meal, and leave.

Or perhaps he'd be lucky and be gifted with someone to sleep with, though he wasn't exactly on the prowl for such. So he sat at the table, sipping a cold glass of ice water, waiting for his "date."

Oh what a cute place! Blue was beaming from the moment she walked through the restaurant doors, happily locating her table card to take a seat. Like she had said on the network, she was actually pretty excited for these. The results of the night were a huge mystery, but she was at least hoping for a nice time regardless of who would take their seat across from her.

Blue had gotten a little dressed up, even if she personally didn't believe it made that much of a difference. She was going to be a bit plain and mousey regardless, in her opinion, but whatever. Any excuse to pull out that black dress she liked was a good excuse.

Idly, she began to glance over the menu while she wondered how her boys were faring on their own mystery dates (she was a little worried about Blake, admittedly) and who she'd be spending the evening with.
