What is this? Why, it's a 'catch-all' log. Very simple!

Caim doesn't have an office, unfortunately. You can find him in any number of places, however, between the dates listed previously. So if you're looking to... 'talk' with the mute, try looking in the following.

He's available for talking to, whether you're interrogating him over past events, recent dick cat events, future events, or if you've never met the man at all.

Make a separate thread for each character and in the subject line, specify an approximate time, day, and location. Action or prose, either's fine. Backdate, futuredate - whatever is convenient for you. That's all you need to do!

[He thought once more about the investigation with Knuckles and Mac. Was he supposed to tell N about them? Did N even know what they were doing? How would he have felt knowing that a homicidal man - formerly homicidal - was going to help look into a homicide case?

Anyone on the outside would have thought letting Caim in was a crazy action. He wasn't a man to be trusted and he'd not yet had time to prove himself anything other than a cretin who didn't deserve forgiveness. But even with time, it'd take a while to gain anything like that.

Caim watched N for a few moments and he decided wisely he wouldn't say a thing unless Knuckles or Mac permitted him to.]

Understood. If you should require my assistance, N, I will offer what I can.

[ His smile was surprisingly kind and understanding. For a man like Caim to be forgiven by N, at least partially, was a privilege. He was innocent until proven guilty, and at this point, he doubted he was guilty.

He was reacting upon emotion, which wasn't right either. Would Charlise have liked him trying to accuse an innocent man? Probably not. ]

I am genuinely grateful for your help. I will let you know if I need you.

[Unsure of how to respond initially, Caim managed to inclined his head respectfully. Something akin to a bow for the kinder young man. He hadn't been expecting N's compassion or his understanding.

Rising to his feet, he straightened his posture and gave another nod. Then he motioned to the door carefully, as if to imply the offer to show him out.]

[ That sounded good to him. He didn't see any more reason to linger around. N stood, casually heading for the door with a little bit of weight lifted from his shoulders. It wasn't a lot, but it was something.

Before he left, however, he gave Caim some parting words, his tone somber. ]

I will let you know if there is any progress on my behalf.

[The prince nodded and dusted himself off, freeing his garments of any invisible dust that might have cluttered him. With a hand, he'd offered an open door and something of a respectful bow, as if still reminded of the manners his family had instilled him with.]

And I shall do the same for you.

[Simply mouthed words, yet with as much weight as the ones N had given to him. For one turn of good deserved another, even in a mind as skewed as Caim's was.]
