fffffffight club.
Who: Eli, Jon, Milimili, Chun-Li, Ellistree, Scout, Bowser, Byrne, Eikichi, Ai, Sheik, Char, Kieran, and Link. + Bonus creepers...?
What: FIGHT CLUB!
Where: Secret mystery location, off-campus.
When: November 9th, 8 PM.
Warnings: FIGHT CLUB. Also probably swearing.
The address on that invitation leads to a battling center in the city. By 8 PM, the place looks closed, but there's a piece of paper taped to the front door: 'SMASH: doors unlocked. mens bathroom, last stall.'
Sure enough, the door is unlocked. The furthest stall in the men's bathroom also has a note taped to the door: 'OUT OF ORDER.' Choose to ignore that note and go inside, there's a secret door past that. A flight of stairs. A corridor. And there you are. Pretty fancy place for an underground fight club, but since a certain one-eyed lunatic's been absent at the academy, the hidden fighting ring had been pretty much abandoned.
Eli was there, no matter how early anyone decided to show up. A bag of her things had been tossed onto one of the many empty tables, and she sat at the edge of the ring until more people decided to show up. It wasn't a large gathering, but Eli seemed relatively satisfied with the turnout, regardless. Once enough people showed up, she started by hastily welcoming everyone and listing off the rules;
1. Two people to a fight, one fight at a time.
2. If you showed up, you have to fight.
3. The fight is over when someone says "stop," or goes limp. Fights will go on as long as they have to.
4. Health/status recovery items are not allowed during fights, but are permitted to be brought in and used after fights.
(For the first meeting, Eli brought a Super Potion, a single Pecha Berry (how thoughtful), and a couple of Maxim Tomatoes in her bag, for others to use.)
With that out of the way, she started to pair people off for fights.

Questions?
no subject
"Blimey - Not too shabby. Almost feels too posh to fight in. How've you been at any rate? Been a bit since we last spoke."
no subject
"Not bad, hm?" she responded, looking pleased with herself and the ring she stood in. Not one for discussing her mood, she plainly replied, "I've been fine. Yourself?" A pause, and she added, almost smirking, "Been too long since we sparred, don't you think?"
no subject
"Been alright. Doing a bit of travelling over the late summer so I wasn't about then, and I've been keeping busy off campus primarily." he said as a sort of excuse without making an excuse.
"So, where did you come into a place like this? Inheritance or just loaning it from someone?"
no subject
"I knew the man who ran things here before he abandoned it. I figured I'd put it to good use, as long as he wasn't using it," she replied, grimacing.

Not that he particularly wanted to maim anyone - but he had to admit this was a more realistic and therefore interesting way to play.
Creepers gonna creep
Don't mind him. Really. He'd prefer nobody notice him, because he's fairly certain everyone else here would destroy him in a fight. He's just here to. spectate.
