The first meeting of the Cartoon Club
Who: Bloody Marie, Peacock, and you!
What: Exactly what it says in the title.
Where: AE11
When: 10/23/12 at 3:30 PM
Warnings: Peacock's in here, so god help you.
Over the past few days, you may have noticed several flyers advertising some sort of club for cartoons popping up around the school. Or maybe you just happened to stumble upon a bunch of...individuals putting up those flyers. Still, it's entirely possible that you stumbled into the screening room today by complete accident and decided to stick around. Either way, there appears to be something going on in the little room. Marie is busy trying to finish setting up the projector, while Peacock is in a corner, looking through a series of DVDs and picking out a few of them.
Anyone who read the posters and walked by the room would probably notice they're setting up a bit early, but Marie isn't one for being late. Especially not when she has a job to do.
[ooc: Alright, so Marie and Peacock have rented out a room for their little club and are finally going to host it. Anyone, students and staff alike are free to show up. Also, feel free to help them set up before the club starts, or hang out after it's over.]

Let's watch some cartoons. Mac walks on in after seeing the flyers. It was last minute but eh. Oughta be fun, despite the stress of losing his mother's bracelet. He needs to cool off or he won't focus.

"Hey, the boxer decided he wanted to so up huh?"
no subject
Regardless, the maid walked over to where Mac was and gave him a wave. "Glad you could make it."
no subject
Heheheh. "Y'guys and I talkin' 'bout the club so I hadta stop on by. Thought it was a cool thing to check out, y'know?"
no subject
"Hey," she said, smiling at the little zombie girl.
no subject
"BRAINS, I mean...""Well I assure you, you won't regret giving it a chance." A brief nod was Daisy's response at first, before Marie turned to face her. "Hello. I...assume you're a friend of Mac's?" ...well she's not wrong. Kinda sorta.
"I don't know if he mentioned me, but my name is Marie," her right arm gestured over to the girl in the top hat. "and this is my friend, Peacock."
no subject
Mac started to blush immediately. Oh my god, what a virgin. He blushes at every, slightest, thing.
"A-actually, we're like...y'know." HE WAS GETTING REDDER AND REDDER. You could have swore his face was a red as a cherry.
"We were hopin' to come together to see the show, that okay?"

"Yeah we ain't that kinda couple, we'll be good. We won't bug nobody."
He holds Daisy's hand back.
no subject
"Good. I would hate for anyone to feel uncomfortable during the time we spend here."

She knew what cartoons were... vaguely. But she never really took the time to sit and watch them! It was time to change that, and what better opportunity than to do it with other people? Maybe she could even make some friends.
She hovered around the projector, totally ready to poke at everything she wasn't supposed to. It was big and shiny and she'd never seen one before, so it had to be investigated.
no subject
"Hey, careful with this! Do you want to ruin Peacock's cartoons?"
no subject
There was a brief pause, as Marie tried to recall what this girl's name was. She knew for a fact that they spoken before, although it was a rather short conversation, to be fair...
"Your name...it's Mary, right?"
no subject
She didn't see the point of breaking things of people she wasn't mad at. Also, if she wrecked the cartoons, she wouldn't get to see them...
She gave Marie a wave, accompanied by a girlish giggle. "Yeah! That's me... I know you too. You're Marie!"
She still wasn't over the fact that their names were so similar. Or her really adorable outfit.
no subject
The maid gave Mary a curt nod. "Yes, that's right. I'm glad you could make it."

And got herself a front seat.
no subject
"Just letting you know, we are not watching any cartoons based on that movie you had us watch."
She was of course referring to that awful mess the room.
no subject
Who was that guy in the seat on the other side of Kazooie? And why was he talking with a mouth full of popcorn?
no subject
Banjo hadn't met her yet, has he?
"Hey Peacock, Meet my buddy Banjo. Banjo, meet Peacock!"

Nobody ever said Banjo was the sharpest tool in the shed.

CARTOONS, CARTOONS, CARTOONS.Marie was still working on the projector, but she had noticed Skull Kid out of the corner of her eye. It couldn't hurt to take a little break and say hi, could it?
"Ah...hello."
no subject
"Hey, what are you doing there?"
