Down from the Heavens she came...
Who: Zelda (
abrasivebeauty) and you
When: 05/02 - Early Evening
What: She's found herself in awhole new world foreign land. The woman's on a mission, however, and she has her trusty Loftwing to accompany her.
Where: All over the academy's campus and the town.
Warnings: Here? You must be teasing.
She walked steadily, her right hand against the large feathered companion at her side. With plumes of deep blue, she thought him a majestic creature indeed. Impressive and strong, except at night. Zelda remembered the warnings and her training at the academy. Loftwings couldn't see well at night. It was only too expected that she'd press his limits too far. Fortunately, the consequence was a rather shaky landing on grass, which she appreciated.
"That could have gone worse," she reassured her feathered friend. "Now then, we should at least rest for the night."
Zelda took her eyes off of the Loftwing and with a scouting gaze, peered around. Grand monuments, intricate design, green grass, and a seemingly warm atmosphere. She had no idea where she was. Places like this had never been seen on the surface and she was most certain that during her pilgrimage she hadn't seen anything like it before. How had she gotten so far off track, however? In one moment, she had been so sure, but the next...
She didn't know at all, anymore.
"Come on then," Zelda continued - perhaps more for herself than the over-sized bird. "Even if he's not here, at least we can say we looked and take to the skies tomorrow."

Daisy approached casually. "Hi there!" she greeted. "Are you lost?"

"I guess I am," she admitted. "I was looking for someone, but I'm not sure this is the right place." Rather than giving a frown, she tapped at her chin with thought, "Can you tell me where I am?"

How about the forest?
He felt rather compelled to spew a comment about a wandering innocent girl and her turkey, but matters of people he don't know are usually none of his business, so he's a terrible ice breaker.
He did stop to observe where they were going from here.
As for what a 5' lizard was doing in the woods, he had just finished taking care of business for an upcoming class. also had to do with giant birds, but they are now well hidden until class. For now.
This is a-oh-kay! ♥♥
At least, anyone who wasn't from Skyloft. Which... was precisely what the 5' lizard was. And Zelda had seen some things during her trip. But... She'd never seen anyone like him. Or her. She couldn't tell from where she was standing.
Had she really landed in such a foreign world? One with walking lizards? Perhaps... talking ones? Holding an arm out to the side, she glanced over her shoulder to her Loftwing, as though to simply warn it to keep a couple of paces behind. And then she chose to approach Leon out of curiosity and a straight forward type of charm.
"Excuse me. I don't suppose you could tell me where 'this' is," and by 'this', she gestured to their surroundings.
Whoo!
The Lizalfos reject smiled. Way to go, asshole.
Maybe at the school gates?
The thought barely passes through his head before he totally makes that jump. Navi following along in yellow alarm behind him, chiming with concern.
I approve! Beware the bucking Loftwing!
Her Loftwing hadn't expected the younger blond boy and frankly, neither was Zelda. It was the squawk she heard first, which caused her to whip around quickly. Her eyes investigated quickly and found what she thought to be the reason for such a sound to come in otherwise much silence.
"What are you--" she began to protest. It probably would have wound up interrogative, but she hadn't gotten very far when her Loftwing jerked, pushing upward with its strong legs. "Oh, you," Zelda managed to push out as she gave her Loftwing a look.
But that wasn't about to guarantee Link any sort of safe landing if he didn't have a strong grasp on her feathered friend.
Oh Noes!
Link threw his arms out and grasped at what he could with his hands. Unfortunately the only thing he could try and grab were the feathers on the Loftwing's back. But they slipped through his fingers as his body lifted with the toss.
Up, up, up he went!
And then down, down, down...
DON'T WORRY; ZELDA WILL SAVE YOU.
He was just a young boy. At least, that was how it looked from Zelda's perspective. A terrified young boy at that, who didn't exactly seem to know what was going on. Or what to expect, except that he was probably going to seriously wind up hurt. And she couldn't allow that. So what that he'd just sort of jumped onto her faithful steed? So what that he was pretty much asking for what he got?
So as she watched him move through the air, her arms outstretched, and she strafed carefully across the ground. Come on, come on... she coaxed herself with the slight wince in her expression. Don't miss this.
Not!Princess to the rescue! \o/
It didn't fix how fast his heart was beating as he tried to make sense of the world again.
Cue heroic music HERE!

There were a lot of weird things about the city and the school Link ended up at. One of the main things that stuck out to him was how many people there were. He'd encountered monsters and all sorts of odd creatures on the surface before. But- save for Impa (and did she really count anyway?)- never another human. It was a little striking to see so many living freely on the surface.
Regardless. Zelda wasn't here. His Zelda wasn't here, anyway. She was probably exactly where she was when he left, just a few days prior! Shortly after figuring out he wasn't going to find his lady here, he lead his Loftwing from it's place with every intention of leaving just as soon as he had arrived.
Well, that was his plan until he saw her, anyway. Guiding her Loftwing just like he was. Casually, he raised his hand and waved to her. As if this were a totally normal occurrence and they weren't in some strange, completely foreign land.

Well. Her search. She supposed with a second thought that it was more like a frustrating excavation. Except she had yet to find what it was she'd wanted to uncover. As though Link were some grand artifact and he was impossible to locate. Frustrating, indeed. What made him think it was such a good idea to disappear anyway? Without even saying anything to her!
Zelda's expression glowered for all but a few moments until her ears picked up a second set of footsteps. Two steps, actually. For as graceful as the Loftwings were, they were much too heavy not to make any sound at all. Away from her blue feathered friend her eyes went and the moment they met Link's, she found herself pausing before she sprinted across the grass, arms sprawled, and a spring in her step.
That literally went into a catapult in his direction.

"I was looking for you," he mused, his tone as casual as his still-very-aloof presence. As if they hadn't been separated for a few days now. As if he weren't just about to leave to go look for her elsewhere, or return to the home they had established near the Faron Woods.

His words caused her to tip her chin up and at once she prodded him sharply in the chest. "Looking for me? But I was looking for you!" How could he be so calm? How could she not be so calm? She didn't think he was really taking this seriously at all, which was grounds for a very irritated Zelda on his hands. But she tried not to abuse him too much in her relief that she'd managed to finally locate him.
...But why here, of all places?

"...That makes more sense."
Which it did. It didn't make any sense for Link to have been looking for Zelda. Where else would she have been other than where he'd last seen her? All it took was for someone in the foreign city to murmur Zelda's name and Link suddenly found himself enrolled in the strange academy.
"There's another girl here," Link explained, "She shares your name." Pause. "A princess." And his eyebrows raised just a little higher still.

It couldn't get much better than this.
Being a free spirit at one with the skies kind of did that to a guy.
He took in the atmosphere around him, taking note of whatever was surrounding him. Oranges and purples painted the skies, beating down to the ground below in an ambiance fitting for any free bird.
That included the bird that caught his eye, one whose color melded well with the evening's grace.
He approached carelessly, a spring in his step and caution shelved. Intrigue was obviously apparent in his face as observed very, very closely.
"Shit. You're huge."

She gave the other a once over and raised a brow. "Let me guess. You just happened to jus' stumble fuck into this place and ya don't even know where ya at right?"
Charlise is so friendly!
no subject
"Does this kind of thing happen a lot?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. Which was pretty much confirming that Charlise was right on the dot with her educated guessing. Well. Her kind of rude educated guessing.
no subject
Charlise leaned back against a tree and looked at the two, "So what the fuck is that?" she added pointing at the creature.

Zelda did not even know what she was talking about, which was confusing all on its own. But... At least she wasn't being quite as rude. And if Zelda had any idea what the phrasing meant, she probably would have either butted heads or just plain avoided her companion.
She looked back behind her to the blue bird who was patient with his blonde-haired master. When she thought it was safe, she allowed him to join her at her side. "This is my Loftwing, Blue." Because she had extraordinarily picked a simple name for him. "I was riding him in search of a friend of mine, but he can't see well at night, so we landed here. I'll resume my search tomorrow."
At least, that was what she thought.

I realized now that they are roomates
"Make yourself at home. Put in things you like."
Sophie repeated this. The hands have had their hands full (haha) with this one probably. Not that she could realize that. Sophie was so. Not with the world. Poor knowledge. Poor computer skills. And poor memory...so she took everyday as she went by. Wondering what to do next. Her room turned into a greenhouse. Potted flowers everywhere.
Hi, Zelda.
8> HI ROOMMATE.
She opened the door after she'd located the proper number assigned to her and then she paused when she peeked in.
"He...llo?" she asked as she blinked at Sophie.
So... she was living in... a bunch of plants. Things could have been worse. The first rule is to not let Link in here. He's such a klutz. He'd probably knock everything over.
