[HOT SPRINGS TRIP] BOYS' SPRING

Where: Fountain of Youth Hot Springs, the boy's spring.

...It's a hot spring. Pretty self-explanatory. Traditionally, you wear a towel, but if that's not your thing then swimsuits are also acceptable. The spring for the male students is the one farthest over to the right, next to the faculty spring -- so don't you go wandering off to girl's spring unless nobody's looking, boys.

If you're headed into the hot spring, then it might be a good idea to start a new comment post, same as the hotel. This thing's bound to get huge, so let's keep the threads as neat as we can. You're welcome to RP this however you like; if you make a tegaki thread, just link it in a post or something.

"It's pretty much a mixed bag. My roommate last year was pretty mean, so I'm hoping I get someone nice this year, but I'm not counting on it... But I hope you get someone nice!" he added quickly. Just keep talking, doesn't matter what! "Um, you mentioned bullies, have people not been very nice to you?" he blurted out, nervous to get back on the topic but desperate for something to say.

"Oh, no, not lately. It's just always been a fear of mine. I have a violin that's easily broken, you see." Makar made motions, trying to think of how he would hold his instrument in human form. "My friends at home tell me I'm quite talented, but I think I still need practice..."

Tubba listened intently, his mind making a note of his use of 'lately', but focusing on what he was currently saying as well. He laughed to make himself seem less nervous, "I can't play any instruments, so whatever you think, you're still better than me. But, um... lately?"

"Yeah... well, when I was little, there were some really mean creatures in the forest. They liked to eat me and my friends... That's why we had to move into the Forest Haven with the Deku Tree. We call our old home the Forbidden Woods now. It's a scary place..."

"...Eat you, huh? That sounds really horrible." The pang of guilt definitely hit him hard there. But it wasn't his fault! The Boos picked on him all the time, and he finally had a chance to fight back. He wasn't a bad person just because King Bowser was the one who helped him stand up for himself! Makar and his friends probably hadn't done anything to the creatures; he didn't look like he could hurt a Goomba. He stared at the water, his expression growing pinched as he tried to defend himself against his own attacks.

"Aw, don't worry, we made it out of there and nobody got eaten for good. I'm glad for that, because I've been swallowed alive once already! My time on this earth would have been over if it weren't for Link though..."
