[HOT SPRINGS TRIP] BOYS' SPRING

Characters: Male students only, please!
What: Hot Springs - Boy's side!
Where: Fountain of Youth Hot Springs, the boy's spring.
When: Sunday, July 13th
Rating: Let's call it PG-13.

...It's a hot spring. Pretty self-explanatory. Traditionally, you wear a towel, but if that's not your thing then swimsuits are also acceptable. The spring for the male students is the one farthest over to the right, next to the faculty spring -- so don't you go wandering off to girl's spring ~~unless nobody's looking~~, boys.

If you're headed into the hot spring, then it might be a good idea to start a new comment post, same as the hotel. This thing's bound to get huge, so let's keep the threads as neat as we can. You're welcome to RP this however you like; if you make a tegaki thread, just link it in a post or something.

Squirtle knew Green and Charmeleon would probably be at the spring so he took this time to spend with the others, and even so he could hang out with Bulbasaur in his room, so it wouldn't be like they didn't have any time together.

He spotted his friend and waved happily. "Ahh! Mana, over here!" He waved and rushed over to his water friend. "I didn't think I'd recognize anyone here, want to play?"

Manaphy turned around and was greatly relieved at seeing Squirtle. So he gave him a hug and smiled.

"Phiii~ Sure! I've been getting a bit lonely here...especially when my room-mates are siblings and don't talk too much...Mana..."

Squirtle smiled at the hug and hugged him back grinning. "I haven't seen you since the park!" He thought for a minute but then an idea came to mind, they were both water Pokemon right? They could have a big splash fight.

"Hey, hey, Mana? How about a splash fight? A rematch from when we had that fight!" He said smirking, it was going to be more playful then serious but it would be fun anyway.

Manaphy's eyes lit up. "Sure mana! That'll be fun! Maybe you can also show me how to do bubble beam..."

Then he splashed Squirtle a little, just so both can get used to the hot water before going wild with it.

Squirtle started with small splashes and little bubbles flowing around, but he started getting excited playing with the water he started making bigger and bigger splashes. He was about to do a minor splash but put a little too much force into it and a surf attack coverd a large amount of the spring.

"O-Oops." He hoped it didn't hit anyone in the vicinity.

Manaphy was caught by some of the splashes, and giggled. But as soon as the surf attack hit Mana and a few others, he looked guitily at the victims.

"...sorry!" Manaphy said although he didn't even produce the surf attack.

Being a parent was kinda stressful. Thankfully, Lucas was pretty sure he'd made it clear to Ionia that girls weren't allowed in the boy spring. Hopefully she'd be alright on her own. Kumatora was probably there to keep an eye on her if anything went wrong. Paula might be there, too, but Lucas didn't think she'd ever met their Pikmin. Either way, he was sure she'd be in good hands. Now, he only hoped Jeff was okay. He made his way back into the springs, scanning for that familiar blond head...

...when a wave blindsided him and knocked him off his feet. He resurfaced with a gasp, ~~duckbutt miraculously undisturbed,~~ wincing at the temperature of the water. It was pretty hot after you'd been out of it for a while. "Ah... wh-what was that?!"

An embarrassed apology drew his attention. A... pair of little blue-haired boys? Seriously? Did a wave that big come from them? "U-um... that... that was you guys?"

"M-mana???" Manaphy looked up to see a unfamiliar blonde kid. "Hi...my name is Manaphy."

Manaphy, although a bit embarrassed by the surf attack, offered his hand to shake.

"Uwah, sorry about that! I didn't think it would get that big." He went over to help Lucas up with Manaphy after being hit with the wave. "I'm Squirtle! i'm still getting used to human form." He laughed embarrased hoping it didn't splash him too hard, he forgot that most people here weren't Pokemon.

"Ah, I... I'm Lucas. I-it's okay about the wave, I just... wasn't expecting that." Lucas offered a small smile to the two boys, taking Manaphy's hand. He wasn't hurt or anything, and that... was probably the quickest way to get used to the temperature of the springs, right? "Wait... um... human form? So you guys are animal students, then...?" That would probably explain how they'd managed to make such an incredible wave despite being so small, then.

Squirtle tried his best to poof back into his turtle form to show Lucas, he was getting more used to switching back and forth but it took alot of concentration. "Well, a Pokemon! I think I'm what you guys call turtles..." He floated on his stomach and swam around Lucas using a water gun attack upwards in the air. "Are you a animal type too, I notice you're hair is really different from the other humans." He pointed out the long swirl Lucas had, even if it wasn't that exaggerated, it's the first time he saw a hairstyle that reminds him of food.

Manaphy giggled at Squirtle's antics. Although he could technically transform back too, but he decided not to.

"I-I guess you can say I'm an animal too...I'm what people call a legendary pokemon..."

"Oh... you're both Pokemon?" Just like Jolteon! Well... not just like Jolteon. There was a pretty big difference between the fluffy yellow canine and the little blue turtle in front of him. ...They were both pretty cute, though. Lucas wasn't sure what the difference between normal Pokemon and legendary Pokemon was, exactly, but it sounded like Manaphy was pretty important, at any rate.

Lucas would have questioned it further, but Squirtle's question kind of threw him. What was wrong with his hair...? He blushed at the question, dropping his gaze. "M-me...? An animal...? N-no, I'm just a normal human. I, uh... my hair's not that weird, is it?"

Squirtle turned back into a human that moment and had gotten closer to Lucas pointing at his head. "Mmmouu, it reminds me of ice cream or something!" He was almost tempted to see if it tastes like anything. Squirtle couldn't keep his mind off food as much as Kirby, he sure influenced him alot. But he was nonetheless surprised he didn't notice this student before, surely he saw him in school sometimes but it wasn't often. Then again Squirtle didn't attend school as much as he should have.

His tail wagged a bit with happieness. "Sorry again, I'd like to make it up to you somehow!"

...Ice cream.

Why did people always end up making fun of his hair? Lucas happened to like this style (though apparently he was the only one at Sumabura who did). At... at least "ice cream head" was one step above "duckbutt." Sort of.

"D-don't worry about it, really," Lucas mumbled. ...Ice cream. Seriously.

Manaphy didn't really think about how weird Lucas's hair was...honestly. He had seen his father and other sea brethren have stranger styles since as Pokemon, it was normal to be...so strange.

Manaphy smiled reassuringly at Lucas. "It's fine...humans have weird hair too I suppose...phiii~"
