Robotnik was nowhere to be found (Good), but the Mega Twirp had found himself back in their school (Bad). Of course Wily couldn't risk doing this back in Capcom, oh no. Nope, if he was going to test this little robot, built upon leftovers from his nemesis shitty inventions, OH he was going to test it on Smash Academy.

Cupid Man was a state of the art Robot Master (tm). Designed to look a bit like a cupid, it had both stealth and a weapon which could amusingly switch how a person felt about the other. And what a perfect time to test this than Valentines!

...no he wasn't bitter at being FOREVER ALONE. Or being a Virgin Man.

Regardless of what you might think of him, he was totally crackling away at his home base, watching how this would all unfold.

And what a good time would be had by all.

Bird time? NO! CUPID MAN TIME! Uncloaking nearby, what little they might have heard was the sound of a machine bow being cranked up before two pink love beams hit them right square in the chest.

Alex was about to yell at the sudden appearance of some weird-looking robot when he was hit at the chest.

"THE FU--" And then something turned in his mind when he looked over at Empo without thinking...

He cleared his throat and frowned, not exactly sure why he was worried about the other all of the sudden.

"Uh... You sure you're alright?"

"I'm... quite alright," he said, suddenly the bitter feeling he had for the legendary disappeared into an abyss.

With the sudden grudge feelings gone and without much thought, he grab a hold of the other's hand tenderly.

When the other took his hand, an overwhelming feeling of wanting to pull the other into a hug came welling up from inside his chest.

And so he pulled Empo into a hug.

And then a million babies

The penguin Pokemon fell silent, his heart beat race tenfold as he froze from the spot. And yet, despite his surprise, he returned the hug, tightly.

Alex was completely at lost of how he should comfort the other. It was himself that made the other look like crap...

"...Sorry for all the shit I put you through." He said in a quiet voice as he pulled the other closer into a tighter hug.

Empo felt like he was flying, he didn't made any attempt to hide his smile. He shook his head and replied with a small voice, "it's alright, all that matters is your happiness now, beautiful."

Even hearing those words, Alex couldn't help but wanting to comfort the other. But what? The hug didn't really do much. Maybe...

He pulled away just enough to give the other a light kiss.

Empo laughed, before cupping Alex's face and pulled him into a deep kiss. He wanted to show the legendary how much he loved him as he gently caress Alex.

The other was laughing, that was a good sign! But he still wanted to make the Empoleon feel better. After the kiss, he pulled away with an unsure look on his face.

"...Is there a thing ya want? Like somethin' to do or somethin'..." Was he trying to ask out for a date? Yes, but he didn't exactly know how to go about asking it.

"It's alright, all I want for Valentines is for you to be with me," the penguin pokemon said as he grab a hold for Alex's hand, tightly.

"Ya sure that's enough for ya?" Alex replied with a small laugh. It wasn't much, just being there for the other, but if that's what he wanted, then that was what Alex was going to do.

He gave the other's hand a squeeze in return as he smiled.
