CUPID MAN SHINES DOWN UPON THE SCHOOL (Open to all)

Instructions: Start up threads, make sure you include everyone in your cupid group (So Lash's group would be Cyrus, Hawke, Lash and Ron) and there is no real need for a tagging order. Someone can show up later after people have been hit with an arrow etc. When you need Cupid Man, go post in the OOC post.

Ahh what a fine day for causing trouble!
Robotnik was nowhere to be found (Good), but the Mega Twirp had found himself back in their school (Bad). Of course Wily couldn't risk doing this back in Capcom, oh no. Nope, if he was going to test this little robot, built upon leftovers from his nemesis shitty inventions, OH he was going to test it on Smash Academy.

Cupid Man was a state of the art Robot Master (tm). Designed to look a bit like a cupid, it had both stealth and a weapon which could amusingly switch how a person felt about the other. And what a perfect time to test this than Valentines!

...no he wasn't bitter at being FOREVER ALONE. Or being a Virgin Man.

Regardless of what you might think of him, he was totally crackling away at his home base, watching how this would all unfold.

And what a good time would be had by all.

Waaaait a minute, was she implying that she wanted these chocolates? Because those were definitely for close friends and not for her. He was about to tell her as much when suddenly he was assaulted by something pink and dubious.

At which point he decided that she could have all the chocolates if she really wanted. He could buy more for those other guys later. He'd try to get around to it, anyway.

Jeff took the largest box out of the bag and tore off the sticky note labeling it for someone else, crumpling the paper and tossing it aside for that one Raiden guy to clean up. Or not. Jeff barely gave it a passing thought.

"Will... these do?"

Sparkle sparkle.

Kitty on the other hand felt a passing warmth and she blinked a few times before staring at him. You know... he was kind of cute... Messy blonde, probably from the bump together but still. Those cute glasses, that adorkable face...

Why didn't she notice before?

It took her a bit to register the offer of chocolates and she looked confused as to whether she should accept them.... or ask for something else.

"Err yeah, I mean, I didn't think you'd actually give me them but..." she rubbed her arm, looking around to make sure there was no one else around.

"I mean, we could like, share them or whatever yanno? Maybe go to your place or mine... hell there's plenty of empty classrooms where no one would bother us while we enjoy these awesome chocolates... I mean you look like someone who wouldn't get crappy chocolates anyways right?"

And that way I could have you all to myself even if all we do is eat delicious treats... Kitty blinked a few times at her thoughts and shook her head a little. She didn't know what was going on with her... but the more she stared at the clumsy dork... the more she felt the need to keep him all to herself...

Oh. She wanted to eat them together. That was good. That was romantic! And today was a day for romance. Maybe his luck was finally starting to turn around when it came to relationships. Okay, maybe he was thinking a little too far ahead. Easy, Jeff, easy.

"Too bad there's still snow outside, or else we could go have a picnic out there." Granted, a little snow never stopped the boys from Winters from doing anything (or else they'd never go outside), but not everyone was used to cold. He rubbed the back of his head with a nervous laugh. "Sneaking into one of these classrooms seems a little more thrilling though, huh?" Not that Smash was exactly strict about that kind of thing.

"I'm Jeff, by the way." He held his hand out automatically, and then mentally kicked himself. That was not charming at all! But he quickly came up with a plan to make it more romantic. The second she accepted his hand he was going to kiss hers like some kind of prince or something and sweep her right off her feet. Yes.

"A picnic in the snow kind of seems odd," she said offhandedly giving him a once over with a curious expression.

"Jeff huh? Well at least it's not some goofball name." She narrowed her eyes and looked to the side, not being one that was very social but something about him made her want to stay, not only that, she wanted to stay by him and just enjoy the company.

"Name's Charlise, but most call me Kitty. I'm fine with either or really..." She blinked at the outstretched hand for a few moment before taking it, she could do a handshake, yeah!

"Kitty," he repeated, absolutely smitten. Oh, right, her hand. He bowed and gently pressed his lips to it, trying to ignore the nagging worry in the back of his mind that maybe he was being way too bold or maybe she wasn't into this kind of thing and why did he have to choose now of all times to start trying to be a romantic gentleman when having experience would have been way more impressive and...

Maybe he just worried a little too much sometimes.

He cleared his throat and released her hand, gesturing down the hall. "There's actually an unused classroom just around the corner there that's usually not locked, if you wanna go there." Not that he knew from sneaking around and digging things out of trashcans at night or anything.

Okay, what the hell? A bit too movie or soap shit for her liking... but it had been physical contact and that made her shiver if just a little.

"Oh ah, sure I guess. I mean, long as there's no one around to sneak up on us or whatever. I like my privacy..." And I hate sharing...

Charlise shook her head and looked at him, a bit of a what? A blush? The hell? Yes a bit of color on her face...

"O-oh, good. It's just down here."

Jeff kind of regretted letting go of her hand now, because holding it while sneaking down the halls would have been a sweet thing to do as far as he was concerned. Too late to do anything at all now without being awkward as all get-out, not that it would have been much of a difference.

He led her down the hall, stopping in front of the first door around the corner. "Okay, let's hope it's unlocked... yes." He pushed it open and made a sweeping gesture with his arm. "After you."

The trip down the hall seemed longer than it really was as Charlise kept looking between the dark hall and the new guy she had just met. There was just something about him that made her wonder what it'd be like to have just a bit more time with him... maybe she could extend their time together?

Once the door open, she gave him an awkward glance and looked away quickly muttering a low "thanks" as she walked in.

She did a quick survey of the classroom, making sure there was no one else there. After all, what would people say right?

And empty it was! There weren't even any posters or decorations or any chalk dust on the blackboard; nothing but the barebones desks and unused chairs on top of them. Jeff pulled the chair down from the bigger teacher's desk up front and set it aside so he could sit on the desk itself, patting the space next to him.

"I'm actually surprised there's not even dust in here, considering it's been left alone for who knows how long." The school was just weird that way, he decided as he opened up the first box of chocolates.

"They prolly got a magic maid or some other shit doing the cleaning even if it's not in use." Kitty replied before she turned back to look at Jeff. And it seemed like it was just in time to seem him start taking out that first box of chocolates.

While it had been what brought her in the first place when she spotted them in the hall and decided to trick him into giving her some... She was now much more interested in the person holding them.

She strode over to him nonchalantly, always being the type to seem completely uninterested before, before sitting besides him and looking at him with a side glance.

"So..." Yep, she was so good at socializing.

~~And then Jeff had the mental image of Raiden doing a magical girl transformation into some kind of maid and he cried for the rest of the day.~~

"So..." He echoed, realizing that if both of them were shy and relatively untalkative types this was going to be a very awkward impromptu date, indeed. But there'd be no need to talk if their mouths were preoccupied...

With eating, that is.

Jeff picked out the biggest-looking chocolate in the box and held it close to Kitty's mouth. "Sooo, open wide?"

Oh... Oh! Why was he... holding out the chocolate so close to... Oh.

Kitty looked at him for a moment and struggled between being angry, or simply letting herself enjoy the moment.

When did she get much of a chance to do so? And at least this was private, maybe she could enjoy herself a bit more by teasing him a little, who knows maybe she'd get a good laugh out of it too.

Charlise's eyes narrowed as her lips parted just enough to take one of the corners of the decadent chocolate into her mouth. She savored it slowly, running her tongue up and down and around the treat before continuing to push forward, taking in more and more of the sweet item, making sure her attention went from it, to Jeff and back.

~~WHOA BONER ALERT~~

Jeff could feel the heat rise to his cheeks ~~among other places~~ as he watched the display. Definitely not what he had in mind. She was doing that on purpose, right? Nobody actually ate like that.

"H-hey..." He cleared his throat. "What're you... uh..."

~~Plan successful!~~

Kitty grinned as she licked it slowly and seductively one more time before pulling back just slightly.

"What do you mean? I'm enjoying my little treat of course~"

"You're doing that on purpose!"

It took only a true genius to figure that out.

"Mmmmm~aybe." she teased with a big grin.

"Is that a bad thing Jeff?"

"Well, no..." He couldn't help but squirm a little anyway. "Maybe. It depends on what your intentions are!"

Kitty's eyes narrowed and she looked at him almost in a predatory fashion, staring him down.

"Me? You brought me here. I should be wondering what yourintentions are!" she retorted a bit annoyed, but soon caught herself and her temper and turned to look away with a huff before she let it run rampant.

It was difficult not to shrink under that stare. Good thing she turned away.

"That's not what I--! I mean, I just thought it would be nice to... just be somewhere peaceful and quiet. And I was just teasing you before anyway... S-sorry."

Charlise took a moment to let her volatile temper simmer and then let out a long breath, longer than she had wanted to at first. She turned slightly to look back at him over her shoulder, soon finding herself unable to be angry at him.

"Fine fine... just don't... l-look at me like that... It's... not right." And it made her face tinge with warmth, but she would never admit that.
