Ripped off the last one and all its friends: Basically, here's what's goin down. We all know our characters experience downtime after classes and their busy schedules, and this is a good venue for those kinds of miscellaneous dorm-shenanigans to take place. Not only does it give your characters the easy chance to meet new people in a laid-back environment but it's a good mechanism for strengthening CR. It's easy!

Feel free to begin in any way you please! Plan with (a) fellow player(s) if you'd like! Or, set up a thread and wait for characters to bite! Anything and everything is possible. Break out the board games for a late night full of laughter, losing, cheating and bonding! Swipe the janitor's keys and gain access to all the impassable places your wildest dreams could only reach! Tiptoe quietly to the kitchen downstairs and make a midnight snack with all your friends! Drive all your neighbors to madness with your ceaseless My Little Ponyta marathons! Get in fisticuffs with your best worst lifelong rival on the rooftops at 4! It can all be yours if you make a thread. So have at it! Don't let this log get away untagged.

"Welllll," Agitha began as she straightened her posture. "Hum. I know that I'm going to make a bug house, and I've met plenty of people who are very nice and want to help me, and that makes me very happy."

It was a typical conversation with a twelve-year-old.

That wasn't what he asked, not by a long shot. He frowned. "What of the world past that?"

She shook her head at him, "Nothing aside. I don't really leave home where I come from. I have my bugs to take care of and I can't take them on long journeys." Agitha smiled ever so sweetly, "You ask some very strange questions, Mister."

And that was how Cyrus became 'Mister Strange'.

"Perhaps I do." It would probably be a tossup as to which of them would be the stranger one from an outside perspective. "There are not many who take such an interest in entomology. What inspires that in you?"

"I think I got it from my mother and father."

It was hard for her to remember because she'd lost them from such an early age. In fact, she had to piece together what she did remember, but it made sense to her. Of course she'd been shown bugs when she was younger. Otherwise, why else would have she known such a fondness for them?

"What kinds of things do you like?"

Why would she ask that?

His eyes narrowed in a slight glare. "So you have taken that mantle onto yourself. Have you akin to it? Or do you wish for somethng beyond that?"

"I'm very happy with my bugs," she replied rather simply. But she was twelve and twelve-year-olds were rather... straight about what they did and did not like. Funny, how adults seemed to get less likely to be so cut and dry.

"Hm! It's a way of adding family to my life. So it leads me to happiness."

"They remind you of your family then...do you intend to let it remain so or will you share that with the world?"

"They're mine. I won't advertise it, but I'm not going to stop someone from hunting for bugs with me." Agitha shook her head. "I'm just doing what I love to do. The whole world doesn't need to know it. It doesn't involve the world. It involves me."

She still wasn't understanding. "You will remain with your bugs, and never give to the world."

"Please stop trying to make me grow up," she said to him very simply, with a smile plastered across her face.

"Such things are not simply the domain of those above a certain age." Why limit it so harshly? At that age, his mind had been consumed with the world, with what to do about it.

"But if a little girl wants to play with her bugs, you should let her, rather than trying to get her to answer questions about what she intends to give to the world."

Because she really was in no hurry to grow up. And to be fair, there was a bit of a snobbish brat in her. She was kind to everyone, but her sheltered lifestyle prevented her from understanding the importance of hard work. Especially since she had more money than she knew what to do with and could support herself for too many years to come - which was necessary with a Hylian's extended lifespan.

Perhaps it was simply too early to get an answer out of her. She clearly hadn't thought about it before. "...Questions must be asked. You will consider your answer and tell me at a later time."

For a few moments, she didn't know what to say. "I think you're a very strange old man." Mostly because she was pretty sure she didn't have to answer to him.

She was going to go hide behind N because Cyrus was so strange. At least. Later.

He stared as she wandered away. He'd long been told that he was strange. He couldn't remember a year of school that he hadn't heard it from someone. But old?

"...relative," he muttered to himself as he left the other direction.
