No thunderstorms here!

Who: Zapdos, anyone
What: Zapdos is on a dare of being quiet for a week.
Where: ANYWHERE
When: From Feb. 1 to Feb. 8
Warnings: Some swearing, some violence. IT'S ZAPDOS.

This was so stupid. So very stupid. Why did he even accept the challenge anyways? Now he was going to go by a week without any sort of shouting, yelling or any sort of loud noises. He knew he went by a week staying pretty quiet before, but that was because he was a ice keese and couldn't talk or see much. Well he did see some things, but it was so weird and awkward and made him a little nauseous.

But now... he was able to talk. It was habitual for him to talk LOUD. But the bet... Well he didn't have a specific thing he wanted at the moment, but it pissed him of so much that Green thought he couldn't do it. Well he'll show him... He just had a tiny confidence issue at the moment.

[OOC: OPEN LOG! Come bug Zapos and try to piss him off! Or just have a talk. He will be out and around places for the week, except probably classes. As the day passes by Zapdos will become more and more rude, if not getting louder. Who knows, he may not even make it to the last day! He definitely will not last the entire week. He is going to completely snap on the 6th, and then for the rest of the "week" (7th, 8th) he will be nonstop loud. Like literally 24-hours nonstop. People can give him warnings during those times, but he will not stop. 8)c ENJOY!]

"Nah, it ain't so bad. If anyone's got it rough, I figure it's you." Char shrugged. "Ain't always easy huntin' your own food, sure, but when you're bearin' down on something that never even saw you comin' and sinkin' your teeth into 'em... shit, Zapdos, that's livin'. Ain't no rush like it." Admittedly, it was probably going to be hard to explain the appeal of killing a thing to somebody who really wasn't into that to begin with, but Char had always been a pretty instinct-driven guy. The things that he was programmed to do were often the things that made him happiest, and hunting down food was about as primal as you could get.

"Besides, there's tons of stuff I can eat. There's tons of different animals livin' around here, plus the stuff Bulba makes. You just eat electricity or that jello stuff all the time, right? Don't you get tired of the same thing every day?"

Char looked down at his own lunch, then scooped a fruit cup and plastic spoon up and slid them toward Zapdos. "Well... jello's sweet, ain't it? Start with something that's kinda like jello and work your way out from there."

Fruit, admittedly, wasn't the first thing Char would usually recommend. He much preferred the "here is a giant slab of meat, enjoy" school of dining choices. But even he knew that plopping down a steaming freshly-dead buffalo or a big, greasy burger in front of someone who had never touched meat before was probably not going to work out too well.

"Or... hell, you tried poffins yet? Ain't exactly people food, but it's pretty dang close to it."

"Green don't make 'em too often either, but they probably ain't hard or nothin'. Go ask Surge or that one Johto flying leader guy to make you some. Gym leaders always do wicked favoritism when it comes to their types, 'specially if it's something legendary."

Heck, half the sparkly-eyed optimist wanna-be-the-very-best trainers out there would probably have no problem making up baked goods for any random Pokemon that asked. "Even if they say no, seems like most trainers either know how to do them or Pokeblocks, at least."
