[note 2 - traumatic fish cannibalism (my baby was killed and eaten) and looking at leftover Red Lobster food has left me kinda shaken/messed-up. My tagging-back will resume saturday evening. Sorry!]
[Short break from hiatus because chat corrupted me in the five minutes i spent there- erm.... anyway! Some people like tegaki, some people have interest in the labs but not the tegaki. Today I'm going to experiment with something different. This class will basically run like a standard lecture RP log with attendance thread and all the nitty gritty. But on the thread to do the actual classwork, there will be a link to the tegaki thread. If you want your character to have fun with this project (or just react to it or whatever), you can click onto the tegaki log to draw your tag OOOOOR prose your tag in the thread. You can also draw a tag on tegaki (or ms paint or whatever) and then post the image onto an LJ tag here so discussion could be in prose. Whatever you wanna do. If this confuses you, just go with one or the other. I'll be switching between both threads.
[When you walk into the room, Leon is already there sitting on the desk as usual, and on the floor to the side of him is..... a giant fluffy THING with feet. It doesn't seem to move. Leon does not talk until everyone is seated.

'Afternoon.
Welcome to your first lab of the class. We do lots of things here, but mostly cut things up or investigate.
Cutting to the chase, Book-readers will be graded on the information they can get on the specimen during these lab hours. The more the better because you'll be helping out the classmates who are getting their hands dirty and I am not letting them mess up my books! The cutters will examine the thing head on and get certain parts that I ask for. You guys will be graded by how well you work the knife as well as identify what I asked for. Go-getters are always good but if you mess up what you're supposed to identify, I won't like that at all!
Today's lab will focus on this large pile of fluff Cloud N Candy.
These are rarely seen in the skies of the Yoshi district because Yoshies are always eating the damn things, but they are not extinct or endangered. Just.... possibly tasty. I don't know. I'm not tasting it!
Whereas two weeks ago we talked about dead people living in this world, today we're studying a creature possibly made entirely of candy!
Those of you with scalpels will each cut a round piece of fluff and examine it. Will we find anything under all that candy?
Are we going to find out?
