Welcome to the wild world of plants!
Who: You! … Or just whoever wants to have botany |D
What:The class of sweet sweet plant loving. Botany!
Where: The Greenhouse.
When: January 20th, afternoon.
Warnings: Don't make Erika have to smack a bitch B|
For the interested students or faculty that may have missed the memo, there was a small sign attached to outside of the door leading to the classroom that would have normally housed the botany class.
"Please report to the green
house for class. Thank you.
-Erika
While the snow outside had recently been showing small signs of starting to melt away, it was still quite prevalent. The cold weather season was not yet over, and it made this fact perfectly clear with a chilly wind. Upon entering the greenhouse, attendees would notice that someone had been prepared with those thoughts in mind. Space had been made for all of the extra coats and odds and ends that the students might have been wearing. The benefits of leaving their extra apparel behind would soon be evident-- the warmth in the green house was thriving.
Frequent visitors to the glass building might have noticed that there were some new additions. Those fairly new to the building might just be bowled over by the amount of greenery there really was. It was like a small jungle. It was dangerously easy here to forget that just beyond the thin panes of glass it was still a very snowy, January day.
And there was Erika, sitting on a small cushion amongst the plants. More cushions had been arranged around her. She smiled in turn at each student who came through the door and nodded for them to take a seat at which ever seat they wanted.
"Good afternoon," she greeted once it seemed that most everyone was there. "I hope you've all kept warm… Welcome to botany. The world of flora is often an under-appreciated one in today's society. It is my hope that you will be able to leave this class at the end of term with a better appreciation for it, even if you may already have a high one."
Erika turned, nodding to the tiny, girl-like flower that had been sitting besides her. The pokemon cheerfully went from student to student and handed them a sheet of paper as Erika continued speaking, "Today we will just be an introduction to your learning space. I'm curious to see what you would like to see this semester…"
"Please feel free to explore the green house," were the beginning of Erika's instructions as she motioned towards the wealth of plants around her.
"It is much larger than it appears, I assure you. The students who put it together did a wonderful job. If you're here, you have my commendations… Ah, but I am getting distracted. If there is something that catches your eye, write it down on the sheet provided to you. This is your chance to tell me what you are most interested in learning. I will be coming around if you have any questions."

Re: EXPLORATION!
When the piranha plants snickered at Erika, Ponyta frowned. "" She made a mental note not to ever approach these plants ever again. Oh... if only they weren't in this beautiful greenhouse of marvelous flowers, she'd teach them a lesson.....
Suddenly, as Tangrowth appeared out of nowhere, Ponyta's eyes widened in shock. Never before had she ever seen such a large Pokemon. And, as quickly as it came and got the job done, it disappeared into the jungle of the greenhouse. Ponyta stared for a moment before she regained her composure.
"Eh heh." With Ponyta's hand finally released, she rubbed the back of her head feeling slightly embarrassed. Obviously, such things with sharp teeth would bite... hard.
"S-Sorry, Miss Erika... I didn't mean to cause you trouble...." Ponyta hung her head in shame. She tried to ignore the throbbing pain in her arm but couldn't hide the hurt on her face.
Re: EXPLORATION!
"It's alright. I am just glad nothing worse happened."
She was not about to miss the pain on the mare's face. "Let me see your arm," Erika instructed gently.

Re: EXPLORATION!
She carefully inspected Ponyta's arm, taking care not to bother it further. The teeth had certainly did an amount of harm. She clicked her tongue lightly. While the blood was certainly alarming, Ponyta would in fact be fine. The wounds were luckily not that deep. It seemed the plants were merely playing.
"Don't worry. We just need to treat this to prevent infection. I have a first aid kit in the front. Follow me, please."
Re: EXPLORATION!
She complied with Erika and followed closely behind her.
"Is... the treatment going to hurt?" she asked quietly while staring at her arm. In spite of the pain, Ponyta's curiosity slowly came back to her. The cuts and blood seemed to pique her interest.
Re: EXPLORATION!
She retrieved the first aid kid from its prominent location on one of the gardening shelves, and motioned for Ponyta to come to the sink that was nearby. "You're lucky they aren't poisonous," Erika commented as she went through the motions of washing the cuts with water. The blood washed away, revealing that the cuts truly were not that bad. What a relief. Erika moved to the disinfectant, looking up at Ponyta before she applied the liquid. "This is the part where it might sting," she warned quietly.
Re: EXPLORATION!
The water felt soothing as it washed away the blood on her arm to reveal her cuts. Thankfully, they weren't bad enough to leave unwanted scars. Then, with Erika's brief warning, Ponyta braced herself for the stinging that would soon come upon her.
Re: EXPLORATION!
She waited a moment to be sure that Ponyta was ready. When she was sure, she quickly poured the disinfectant over the cuts. Erika was gently holding her hand and making small reassurances as it bubbled and did its job. Then Erika was firmly wrapping the wound in a bandage in no time.
"All done," she announced quietly once she affixed the clasp.
Re: EXPLORATION!
In human form, Ponyta realized how relaxing water could feel against one's skin and smiled slightly. If she were in her Pokemon form, the water would surely hurt a bit, but as a human, it had the opposite effect and was actually very pleasant to touch.
As the medicine bubbled, Ponyta winced slightly. She decided to toughen up as it certainly didn't hurt as badly as the biting, like Erika said it would. The stinging would all be over soon with a bit of patience. With a tiny sigh, Ponyta enjoyed the feel of the bandages brace her skin.
"Thank you very much," Ponyta said gratefully with a smile. "I don't know what I would've done without you."
