Who: Knuckles and assorted friends take a short vacation. (Even if you didn't reply to his initial entry about it, feel free to come along.)
What: Hanging out on Angel Island for the weekend.
Where: Angel Island. Yep. Bet you didn't see that one coming.
When: Late afternoon on Friday through to Sunday morning. (Backdate land aaa sorry I had work.)
Warnings: WHO KNOWS!?

It had been something more of an open invitation this time, so, the group was a little different than his last trip to Angel Island with friends. Actually, most of the people who went the first time were no longer at school. Big, Bark, Katrina, Fawful, Blaze, Marine, Siren. It was a little sad to think of the fun time they had had a little over a year ago, being they were all gone now. Still - This weekend would make up a brand new crop of memories.

It wasn't too long of a trip once you got out of the harbor. He'd made sure to set her down close by the shoreline when he'd parked his small continent in the sea.

The ferry he'd rented pulled up at the beach and the dock he and Bark had quickly constructed out of logs and rope last year in anticipation of the first group trip. Some people were probably going to bring thier own transport over and that was fine. It wasn't exactly a hard place to find, after all.

((OOC: So people seemed pretty happy with the idea of doing some sprite pictures like the last one. If your character already has some sprite sheets, feel free to use those. If not, I've made a couple for a couple people and I'll try doing more. XD Otherwise, if you want to do regular pictures or photoshops or what have you, those are more than fine too. Or, if you don't want to do anything, that's cool too! It's not like it's mandatory bra. XD Just have fun. Use other characters sprites in your stuff, but try keep everything IC.

So, P. much I'll post up some locations and you guys can start threads for your dudes wherever you like and other people can join in. If you have never played Sonic 3 and Knuckles, you could check out this video here. It's a little over a half hour long but it has the entire game. XD If anyone wants to see any other environemnts from the games here, let me know and I'll make them! ))

Goose didn't want his poor beloved Sharky to get filthy with sand (how typical), so he came here alongside Knuckles and whoever else in the rented ferry. He stepped out onto the dock and glanced around and about. Wow, this place was very... tropical on the outskirts. It reminded him very much of Holiday Island.

"Daaamn, this's niiice." He looked up at the various seagulls dotting the air. There were so many of them!

"Thanks!" Knuckles replied with a grin. "The beach is nice now that it has water. When Angel Island is in the sky, this place is a lot more barren and less cheerful." he admitted. This must have been how things looked before his ancestors decided to make Angel Island float skyward for whatever reason. There were new animals, too. The Wingull, which Goose had already noticed of course, and some other sea life that had decided to call the beach it's home. Much more than last year.

"Damn, it didn't have water? Shame," Goose commented. "Then again, an island in the sky sounds amazin' anyway. Heh, imagine the views it musta' had."

He peeped into the water and noticed some Chinchou swimming throughout the ocean waters. At least, thanks to Surge's teachings, the pilot knew not to touch them unless they asked for petting themselves, lest he get a bit of a shock.

"Well, there's always fresh water." Knuckles explained. "But a beach like this would be impossible up in the atmosphere unless I had a floating sea to go with the island."

He looked at the ocean and saw all the different creatures foreign to his shores, making use of the beach as they would. It made him smile.

He had already brought down the supplies form the ship before it left dock. Opening a cooler, he threw Goose a beer - hey, he was nineteen, now. It was all legal!

Goose's eyes immediately lit up at the sight of the beer. Man, after that trip here, he could use a good drink right now, especially now that he was under the sun. The setting was just right.

"Heeeeey, thaaaanks," He laughed and popped open the can of beer to take a drink. He brought the can up to his lips and took a gulp before letting out a content sigh. "Niiiice." Don't worry Knux, whether or not you were legal, Goose wouldn't have cared anyway. He started drinking at 14!

"I brought plenty so don't be shy." Knuckles said. "Lots of food too... though, there's enough fruit on the trees most times of the year to feed an army."

He took a gulp of his own drink and looked around. It felt a little odd to be back, but he'd missed the place. It was still strange, seeing it earthbound like this and not soaring amongst the heavens. But it would do for now.

"Fruit, eh?" Goose was pretty hungry! "What kinda' fruit grows here? I'd pro'lly like to try some, if ya'll can grant that honor to a hungry ol' pilot."

"Well, there's a lot of regular stuff like Oranges, bananas, coconuts, apples, grapes, squash, all different kinds of beeries, and then there's also differen fruits that don't grow many other places. Triangle fruits, heart fruits, Chao nuts... a whole mess of different kinds. You eat as many as you like - the Island is fertile enough that it grows more than even me and an army of Chao could ever finish off."

"~~BUTTCONE FRUITS~~ Sounds nice. I think I'm gonna go 'head and try to find some of them unrecognizable ones. None of 'em are poisonous, right?" Goose didn't think so, but better safe than sorry.

"I grew up eating 'em and look at me!"

Yes, Goose. You too could grow up to be four feet tall and covered in red hair if you eat them.

"All perfectly safe."

"Good."

And he was off, ready to go on a fruity foodventure! Woohoo!

"Have fun!" Knuckles called after the teacher, giving a cheery wave and setting off to introduce everyone else to his home.
