Watermelon smashing! A day at the beach.

Kirby had the things ready. He got a few very large watermelons that made his mouth water just by looking at it, he had borrowed a bat from Ness ahead of time, a cloth for blindfolding, and he was actually was able to find out how to get to the beach. The beach actually wasn't that far away! He made sure to leave the directions to get to the beach for the others before he left the school grounds.

The pink ball set the large bag into the sand and stretched a little while he waited for the others to come. The clear sky was perfect for a day at the beach!

"Oh, right," said the guy still covered in watermelon juice, which by now had sort of gotten even stickier in the sun and he sort of had sand stuck to his most of him, too. "He spun me around, I'd better spin him around, yeah?"

So Max went up, tied the blindfold around Ulty's eyes (Max had to kind of reach up to get to him, sheesh Ulty you're taller than Max, good God) and said, "Ready?" and not waiting for an answer Max spun Ulty around with great force several times, and then let go of the hulking man and bird.

Woah...This was new. Ulty had never been this dizzy before. And neither had Birdy, who flew off his head in a wobbly arc and sort of crashed into the beach, head spinning.

Ulty, meanwhile, wobbled from side to side trying and failing to keep his balance. He lifted the bat unsteadily and swung it sideways, completely missing the melon and causing him to fall down on his butt.

"URF...ULTY HIT MELON?"

"Not yet!" Lash called out. "...but don't swing anything right now, Birdy's gone off your head!" She quickly ran over to grab the little bird in the sand and held it in her hands before running further away. It would have been really unfortunate if there as an accident, after all.

"Okay, I've got him safe and sound, try hitting it again!"

Birdy? Right? Other right? Lots was sure happening quick!

OK....Lash had Birdy. That was good. But Ulty had never really learned his right from his left and his "other right" just didn't make any sense.

Ulty stood up and stuck his hand out to try and feel for the melon...until he had a better idea, sticking his bat out to try and find it. "ULTY CLOSE?" he asked, trying to bump it.

"NO YOUR OTHER RIGHT, THE OTHER SIDE," shouted Max, getting caught up in all of the shouting that Ulty did. "LIKE FIVE MORE STEPS MAYBE."
