This is the time to remember, though they will not last forever...
Who: Everybody! Yeeaaah!
What: Graduation and Prom!
When: The evening of June 8th.
Where: The Stadium.
Warnings: Everything. Everyone. You know who you are. You Know Who You Are.
Whether you've been here every year for what seems like eternity, or this is your first time, nothing quite compares to the feeling of Graduation Day.

The Stadium was decked out in school colors and the lights were bright. The stage was simple, classy and bereft of decoration barring the happy, smiling faces of your Headmasters and Teachers. (Those of them who do smile, at any rate.) Congratulations on your impending steps forward, those of you who made it through the school year! Hope your gowns are clean and your hats are appropriately be-tassled!
Of course, such pomp and circumstance can't go on forever. Once all the formalities and diplomas and congratulatory Hand shakes are out of the way, we have Prom! There's tables and chairs set up at the other end of the Stadium, and a huge table covered in all manner of finger foods guaranteed not to dribble or splatter on your rental tux or beautiful dress - so long as you're careful, anyway. And don't forget the dance floor and the plethora of music picked just for all of you to dance to! Tonight should be a night to remember!
-------
[[OOC: Hey there, Smashies! You know the drill, right? It's Graduation! Here's last year's if you need a refresher on how this works. The basics go like this - Graduatiuon itself is broken into several parts. Once the last part, Dismissal, is posted up, that's your cue to make your own top-level threads for Prom! But please don't hesitate to continue tagging Graduation stuff.
If you have any problems, don't hesitate to ping a Mod!]]

"Mona, did you do all of this yourself? It's all very beautiful!"
no subject
"Thanks! Pretty neat huh?" she swept her gloved hands in an arc to the surroundings beyond her, from her painted backdrop to the arch that set the mood and tone to the evening.
"I put in a few all nighters to get the backdrop finished in time. A couple cups of coffee should be credited too for it's completion" she beamed with pride.
She quickly added and changed her grin to something akin to sheepish "Er, hope our dorm wasn't too much of a clutter for you. I promise I'll clean the room up right after prom is though. I swear!"
no subject
"The displays are all so grand and beautiful. It's amazing you did it all on your own. I'm very proud, I must say."
no subject
"Silly, of course I'd forgive you!" she laughed softly. Very like her roommate to start worrying over small details. She would have invited Chiyo in her handiwork, but once she started diving head first into her big project, nothing pulled her away. Not even her own thoughts of bringing in a second pair of hands to help had crossed her mind once she zoned out.
"Don't you worry you're little fishy head Chiyo. I figured I'd work on my own in order to give you time to study for exams and whatnot. Couldn't have you flunky out on account of me, now could I?" Hands went to her hips in a very truthful matter.
"If you did, that would have been a bummer and totally my fault. Why, I'd have to write each of your teachers explaining the reason on why you flunked and why you really deserve the grade instead! Can you imagine 'busy painting a backdrop' as an excuse?" she laughed again, all in pure fun.

"Thank you, Mona, for being very considerate of me. I'm glad it all worked out in the end. You really, truly did a fantastic job. You're quite the artist, and..." she stepped back to admire Mona's dress, "you look very lovely tonight as well. I love your dress."
no subject
"Ah, well you look gorgeous yourself!" It seemed as well Chiyo had a similar taste for nice dresses and clothes to boot. She looked lovely in her blue gown and very much took on the appearance of a mermaid. Yet...something seemed amiss here? Mona glanced over Chiyo's shoulders, looked to either side of the Vaporeon and she stood on her tip toes to look over her friend. Huh. Figured someone like Chiyo would have a date in toe on account of their boy talk.
"Soooo, may I ask? Which one of those men you were eyeing did you bring to prom as your date, hm? Hmmm?" With a wink wink, and a nudge, nudge, she elbowed Chiyo with a hint of tease in her vocal tone. A pretty lady such as Chiyo shouldn't have had a problem snagging some boy for her prom date, right?

"Of course you may ask..." She looked at her dress and smoothed it down. It was a pity neither of the two men could appreciate her in it. She had tried so hard picking the right one out.
"Sadly, I..." She paused briefly, unsure of how to exactly to phrase it. "Never got the chance to ask. Either of them. I guess... they disappeared? Back to their homes? I haven't seen or heard from them in a while. It... happens here. People disappearing. I've had it happen to myself, too. But, um, yeah."
She looked to Mona and gave her an apologetic smile. "Sorry, I hope I didn't darken the mood. Prom should be a joyous occasion. All I can do now is pray for their safety and well-being."
