Who: Char, Voile
What: A post one-night-stand encounter.
Where: Outside the library
When: March 3/14, afternoon
Warnings: uhhh probably some talk about hanky-panky??
Mistletoe season had long since come and gone, leaving a few festive indiscretions in its wake. Blame it on the eggnog, maybe; Char didn't really know Voile much beyond "I guess Bulba's friend" and "maybe went out with Red's Pokemon," but he wouldn't have considered the fragile, ethereal-looking kind of woman his type. Women who were dancing a step ahead of him, however, were, and Voile proved to be remarkably good at being hard for him to read. The month had felt a lot more empty with Nyx no longer part of the picture, and... well, who could blame a Lonely nature for wanting to feel a little less lonely? A kiss that didn't have anything to do with the mistletoe had slid its way into something more than that.
And (and least Char hoped) they both understood exactly what that had been. Some steam had been let off, and nothing more was said. He hadn't spoken to her since. This school being what it was, however, it was bound to be a matter of time until their paths crossed again. And so it was that fate went and intervened when Char was on his way out of the library, a folder full of photocopied articles from various Pokeprofs under his arm. No sooner had he stepped out the door than he spotted Voile, his step faltering for just a second.
"Oh," he offered, smoothly, "hey."
