Going full anime right now
Who: Super fighting robots, possibly you if you'd like to hang out with a robot
What: Standing on top of buildings in proud robot tradition
Where: The rooftop
When: Before and after Oct 4, or whenever
Warnings: I've been on an excessive robot kick lately I'm so sorry

Sometimes you just have to stand on the roof a lot in your spare time. It's a good vantage point, the wind gets all up in your hair, and usually no one's there to bug you. Usually, but not always.
But sometimes company isn't bad either.

Light Hearted Robots
At least 9 games ago. There was something oddly calming about it, just looking out over the city, everything feeling so small. It put things into perspective for him, reminding him just how big the world was, and reminding him the magnitude of the burden he'd taken on to himself when he became Mega Man. But at the same time it filled him with resolve. If the world was counting on him, he wouldn't let it down.I see what you did there...
When he spotted the other robot, however, for a moment Zero could've sworn he was looking at X. He was a splitting likeness. It was the first time he'd run into Rock while he was armoured, and from behind, they were uncannily similiar - both clad in blue armour, with those clunky boots and arm parts. Rock just happened to be smaller, that was all.
They were almost like brothers from different eras. Maybe... maybe they were. The name Dr. Light had rung a bell, though Zero still wasn't sure of the hows and whys. All he knew was that dull ache in his chest when he looked at the all-too familiar shade of blue.
He walked up to the smaller robot with a simple greeting. "Mega Man."
You can't stop me

"...It's a good place to think."
Re: narrows eyes
"Dr. Light thought that if I came here I could learn to live a normal life, but it feels like there's just been one disaster after another. Not exactly the most normal life. No matter where I go, it feels like I have to fight."

Ruminating on these endless battles was really kind of a downer, though. So instead, Zero opted for a tangent.
"Dr. Light... your father..." The word rolled over Zero's tongue like a foreign object, unfamiliar and unexplored. The weight of it in his mouth made him pause for a moment, before he commented, "He sounds like a good man."

"He's designed so many useful and helpful robots, and he built me and my sister Roll as his assistants. And as his children. And he's never treated me as anything other than his son. I may not be organic, but he's still my father."
no subject
Zero wondered if Rock knew how lucky he was, to be surrounded by so many loving people in his life. But then again, seeing how he turned out, he must have - why else would he fight so fervently to protect them?
"Do you miss them?"

"So, a father, sister... do you have many brothers?"
no subject
"And... well, there's Blues," he finished. He wasn't quite sure what the best way to explain Blues to Zero was...
no subject
'Blues' didn't exactly follow the naming convention that almost everyone else had. There had to be something special about him. Was he, perhaps, also blue in colour...?
Sensing Rock's hesitation, he carefully asked, "Who's Blues?"
no subject
He looked up at Zero. "The more I think of it... He's a bit like you, actually. Kinda stand-offish, but he's always there when I really need him."

"Pyrrhon spotted a couple of weirdly dressed mortals hanging out on the roof, and wanted to check out what's up. So, what's up?"
OK JEFF U GO NEXT
"...Nothing." Nothing of real interest for an apparent god, anyway.
Excuse you we were having robotic pathos up here
"You're not another Robot Master, are you?" he asked, hoping the answer was negative.
no subject
"What kind of a question IS that, anyway?? And how can you say you're not up to anything? Or is it just a coincidence that the only two people in the world who'd wear metal underwear over a skintight suit are both hanging out in such a secluded place?"
no subject
Back at Pyrrhon, who was definitely barking up the wrong tree. "Maybe. We were just talking." It wasn't like he was running into a secret meeting of the robo-panties Illuminati or anything.
What was this alien robot brain thing...?
no subject
It doesn't seem like he's interested in making things easy and just leaving, unfortunately for the two robots. "So what ARE you two talking about, then? I'm gonna stand by my guess that it has something to do with your weird choices in fashion." He looks over at Zero, leaning down a bit towards him. "Though I do have to admit, the head-jewel at least is a nice touch. Green's a great color for them!"
no subject
"We're just talking about stuff," he answered out loud. "Do you always butt in on private conversations?"
no subject
"There's not much fashion to talk about. I can't exactly change out of these." Not everyone could teleport their armour on.
no subject
"...What, you can't afford new clothes? They do PAY you for your security officer job, right?"

He goes back to normal, descending back onto the ground, grinning smugly. "You mortals should be honored to be in my presence, really."
no subject
Zero stared, completely unimpressed by the display of power. It was hard to really take Pyrrhon at his word when he was such an extreme braggart about his status. At least in Zero's mind, if you were anyone important, your actions spoke for themselves. The fact that a god craved so much attention just seemed a bit insecure to him.
He didn't really have anything to say about the boast, but one thing still stuck in Zero's mind. "...So what's a god need with an alien robot brain?"
