What: Ecolo's wandering around and there's shadow bugs

Warnings: Action stuff. Most likely fighting. Potential confusion of which shadow is which.

Ecolo had been wandering around the city ever since he made his little video post on the networks earlier in the month as a means of getting familiar with the place. There were so many things to see and discover, but he came to realize that he really was the only one that he knew who was thrown into this world.

Was it relief that he felt? Ecolo wasn't sure what emotion he felt upon this realization, but he didn't think too far into it as his attention was quickly directed towards the shadow bugs. It was curious, to see a different being taking a similar appearance as himself. Curious, and a little annoying. If Ecolo had the ability to think in another person's shoes, he may have realized this annoyance was what Ringo and others may have felt when their spells were copied by him. Nevertheless, he was going to have some fun with the shadow bugs while he had the time.

There was a nagging thought in the back of his mind, though. Something about this world felt off, but he couldn't pinpoint why. Ecolo scratched his head as he floated in place, tilting his head.

"What's this feeling?"


((He will either be just floating around, or playing around with the shadow bugs. Feel free to join up with him, or confuse him for a shadow bug! Depending on the day you run into him, he will be acting a little off due to the breakdown in reality, being someone who normally lives between dimensions and all.))

"Oh, if it's eating your things then don't worry about it! I don't eat!" Ecolo responded cheerfully, waving his arms around in the air.

Speaking of shadow bugs, they have slowly edged towards Ecolo, lingering behind him now. Ecolo himself doesn't seem to be paying attention to the bugs, however, as he keeps talking.

"Eating computer things sounds like you'd get a stomachache too. And that doesn't sound fun."

"You don't eat nothin'!?" She asked like this was the greatest outrage she had ever heard. But food's so great... Dang, even the Pokemon that looked like food or gears or inanimate objects ate food, how was Ecolo even alive?

"I mean, yeah, I wouldn't wanna eat a computer, neither, but like... Nothing at all?"

[fakespeech]

"I don't eat because where I come from doesn't have food!" Ecolo was being more cooperative than usual. Perhaps it was because Hilda's reactions were amusing to him.

"I'm a dimensional traveler. I live between worlds, so there's nothing existing! There's no time or space, so I don't need air to breathe or food to get energy from like humans!"

[for_truth]

"O... Oh..." Hilda frowned and scratched her head. So, what, he was an alien from inside a black hole or whatever? She really didn't get it.

"So, hey, have you, like... Ever tasted food before just to see what it was like?"

[fakespeech]

Alien from inside a black hole sounded just about right.

"Hmmm... Now that I think about it, no. I've spent most of my time wandering in space and between dimensions and making fun of things that I never thought about eating before."

[for_truth]

Floating around and making fun of things sounded, uh, rude.

"For real? Dude, you gotta try it sometime! You might like it. Uh, even though you don't need... To eat..."

[fakespeech]

"Would it be fun, to eat?" Ecolo asked in response. "It looks like it depends on people though. I've seen people get so grossed out at someone else eating and that doesn't look fun other than seeing the person's face twist around like that."

Things that Ecolo watch were probably very questionable...

[for_truth]

"If you, uh... I dunno, I guess it's fun if you like how somethin' tastes? There's a whole lotta food out there."

Nervously, she eyed the crowd of shadow bugs. "So, uh... Are these guys your friends or what? They ain't gonna, like, attack or nothin' are they?"

[fakespeech]

"Hmm~ I guess I should try it whenever I'm bored~" Ecolo commented before looking over at the shadow bugs as Hilda shifted the attention over to them.

"Them? I don't know what they are~! They won't answer when I ask them if they want to be friends, so I guess not~!"

[for_truth]

"Weird..." She trailed off and scratched her head.

"Well, uh, they ain't attacking, so maybe they like you...?"

[fakespeech]

"Really? They were trying to play a little while ago. They god kind of quiet when I squashed some of them." Ecolo responded.

"It's not as fun as squashing puyo though. They need to be more colorful!"

[for_truth]

"What's a puyo?" Hilda asked, assuming he was talking about some kind of new Pokemon. "And, uh, doesn't that hurt 'em? Squashin' them, I mean."

[fakespeech]

"A puyo is a jello that pops when you stack them up, and gives you a good feeling! If you can stack a lot more and make them pop right after another, you get to have a really really fun time~!"

Ecolo was actually explaining things. What a surprise!

"Squashing puyo doesn't hurt anyone, so it's okay~!"

[for_truth]

Wait... You stack them up and they EXPLODE?

Sure, Ecolo was explaining things, but he raised more questions than he answered...

"Does it, uh... Hurt them?"

[fakespeech]

"Yep~! Like this~" And Ecolo demonstrates as he stacks four of the same colored blobs and they popped into nothing, leaving a small sparkle.

"See~?" He waves his hands, turning to Hilda again. "Do you want to try~? If you stack a lot you can make bigger explosions and maybe get those weird shadow thingies too~!"

[for_truth]

Hilda let out a little gasp at the wanton destruction of jelly life before her eyes. That... Did not sound like a good time for those little guys.

"But... But they have eyes, and stuff," She said. What if they had little jelly families?

[fakespeech]

"Yeah, they do! But that doesn't mean they do much. But just having them around makes things so much more fun~!"

He wondered how things would be different without Ringo and others around in this world, if he were to try burying with Puyo again. With so many different dimensions and people mixed up in this strange world, maybe it was worth a try...
