As a quiet Friday dawned on the school's campus, one could perhaps...feel it in the air. A creeping chill, a silent, barely-detectable indication that yes. Tonight would be the night.



By Saturday morning, the entire academy would be covered in snow.

BUT WAIT



That wasn't all--a large pine tree had made an appearance on the main quad, in desperate need of decoration.

"That's a lot!" Sonny asserted helpfully before setting off on an intrepid rock claiming mission.

And it was not too terribly long before he returned with quite the handsome pile of large rocks. He'd taken them from the surrounding area and there was quite a variety of colors and shapes, but they were all fairly large.

...he had no idea exactly why you would need huge rocks like these for when building snowmen. BUT HEY he was a good worker and he didn't get gold coins to ask questions.

"Now, put them in the snowman," said Bowser. "I don't care how you do it, just do it."

"Inside the snowman? Hmm..."

Well. This was a dilly of a pickle. Clearly, this snowman was about to gain some serious weight. More than most people gained during the festive season.

He started by carefully removing and setting down the head, followed by the snowman's rib cageular area. Then he started scooping the guts part out of the snowman's bottom half. Before stuffing rocks in there.

"This guy is going to be a pretty heavy snowman." he observed, setting the last rock on the pile of other rocks inside the snowman's stomach. He then started re-assembling the other parts. "OK! Snowman surgery is complete!" he said, quickly jamming in a pinecone nose and some carrot top hair to go with the little pebble eyes and big smiley mouth.

"Acceptable, your Burliness?"

"Yes, minion," Bowser answered. "Good job. You're an important member of Team Bowser."

Bowser swaggered over and hefted it up. "It's a lot heavier. Good." He was going to have to be careful not to break it on his trip back to his clown copter.

"As you were, soldier," he said as he walked off with his beautiful prize.

"Th-Thank you, Your Burliness!" Sonny replied, actually more than a little ecstatic about being told he was an important member of the team.

One day?

One day. He was probably going to get a raise. Or a promotion. Or a company car. Then he could be a playable character in Mario Kart 9 or 34 or whatever.
