Who: YOU
What: SNOW
When: DECEMBER 6th
Where: EVERYWHERE
WHAT: SNOW (BONUS TREE DECORATING)
As a quiet Friday dawned on the school's campus, one could perhaps...feel it in the air. A creeping chill, a silent, barely-detectable indication that yes. Tonight would be the night.

By Saturday morning, the entire academy would be covered in snow.
BUT WAIT

That wasn't all--a large pine tree had made an appearance on the main quad, in desperate need of decoration.

Daytime daytime
Every so often he stopped to take a look around and register where he'd been, this particular time at a bench to get the snow out of his socks. Foot up and bent over, he was TOTALLY unaware of anything that could possibly happen. Which is nothing, of course.

From a short distance, the Banette phased in and picked up a heap of snow in her claws before drifting closer. From approximately 5 feet away, she tossed it against the back of his neck before disappearing with a giggle. Just to see how he'd respond to that, she supposed.

"!"
He felt the strike of cold pierce against his skin, his head dipping down in a flinch. Due to his position, the remains subsequently sat on his neck as well. Oh god.
It didn't take long for Desmond to figure out what had just happened. He clicked his head just enough to see if he had made the terrible mistake to stand under a tree but there was no tree to be seen. He went back to staring downward, letting the realization that he was going to have to stand up eventually slowly sink in.
"Okay... Okay. 1, 2 - "

YEAH, THAT WAS COLD. It went tumbling down his back, some dripping water escaping into the back of his pants. THIS WAS AWFUL.
He immediately pulled at the back of his hoodie and shirt to let the rest of what fell in fall back out, a cold breeze blasting up his back and making it worse. He released his clothes and turned to search for whatever asshole thought that was funny. (Admittedly, Desmond would find this hilarious in any other situation.)
Remembering he's at a school, however, makes him change his tune.
"Who's there?" And because he's such a good sport, he leaned down to start gathering snow, still looking around while he padded it into a snowball. Yeah, he's gonna get you.

In his line of sight, the Banette appeared on the ground and waved her hand. She'd accept his challenge and obviously be the winner. She was smiling as always, just daring him to try hitting her.

"What the - "
He honestly wished that he could say this was the first time someone - something? - had just suddenly appeared before him without warning, but since it was not, he held onto his shock a little better than another man might.
Seems like he just landed himself in a fight with a mischievous little kid.
what did he know"So it was you, huh?" She had earned a grin from him. "Okay..."He padded the snowball down and suddenly whipped it in her direction. Surprisingly fast! "Gotcha!" But did he?

The Ghost-type shook her head and did this snooty shrug. He just wouldn't be able to win! She stared back at him with a smile, entertained by the possibility that he didn't know what he was dealing with.
and like an idiot, he keeps trying
"Seriously?" Desmond complained (playfully), arms out in disbelief. He bent down, scooped up more snow, and padded it into another ball. "C'mon, how's that even - " He flung it at her again. "- fair!"
incredible
With one hand, she scooped up a crude snowball and tossed it at Desmond's face in one motion. She didn't care if this wasn't fair because she didn't play fair. She was a terrible cheater, yes.

"You got a good throw for a kid!" Or a ghost, whatever. He knew the same ol' moves weren't going to let him get one over on her, so he looked around for a tree, which, once he found one, he began to run over to it. He needed some kind of cover. She was going to kick his ass at this rate.
Well, even if he had business to attend to, he could throw a few snowballs around, right? And by a few, I mean he was preparing his arsenal behind the tree, you little shit.

While Desmond hid behind the tree, Milimili disappeared and reappeared up high within the branches. When Desmond was safely under it (or so he thought), Milimili jumped on the branch and shook the snow off onto whatever was below.
THERE'S A SECRET??
She had effectively ruined some of his arsenal's structure, but snow on top of snow only meant more ammo. He wasn't entirely expecting to win at this point, but he was determined to get at least a single hit in, so he made one of the snowballs larger and began to climb the tree, keeping in mind she was likely just going to fade out when he got close enough. Desmond climbed purposely slow.
In the back of his mind, he couldn't believe he was having a snowball fight with a fucking ghost.
OH YEA
She packed together another snowball and went toward the tree, but still tried to stay out of his sight. Then, she reached around and made to slam the snowball into his face - that is, if he hadn't caught wind of her plan already and avoided her. Milimili couldn't tell if he was there or not, anyway.
WOW somehow this got deleted??? I'm sorry.
