"Ghhk-!" Down he went, his nose snuffling up a little bit of water amidst the shock of the situation, and with that in mind, he rose quickly. That didn't mean Pit lost precious time, however. Shadow spent his time hacking from the sensation, his nose and throat burning, yet through all of the stinging, he doubted any got into his lungs. He managed to catch himself just in time.

He continued to cough before he tried to regain some coherency, eyes darting about to try to find his noodle. Now was Pit's big chance to change the tides, no water pun intended.
