Chiyo's Time of Bed Rest
Who: Chiyo and hopefully you?
What: Due to a crash collision of her ribs with a tree branch and a stereotypically prejudiced human, Chiyo is in the hospital to treat and recover from her bruised ribs.
Where: FDC General Hospital
When: Roughly April 25th until May 10th [may be changed to end early]
A feeling of surreality washed over Chiyo as she woke up to find herself still humanized and in a bed. Having taken up residence in Lake Kraken instead of her dorm room, Chiyo wasn't accustomed to anything other than sleeping in her original form in a body of water. So the sight of white, simplistic furnishings and sunlight streaming through the window to gently embrace her was all peculiar and mystifying.
"Good morning, Chiyo. How are you feeling?" Chiyo's eyes flitted over to the nurse entering her room and she quietly watched her approach the foot of her bed. After all the hectic events as of late, especially the one that had her admitted to the hospital, Chiyo couldn't help but to feel some discomfort and awkwardness in dealing with humans now. Were they bad? Or were they good? She didn't know.
But that didn't mean she was going to start being rude and impolite by ignoring others.
"Good... good morning," she hesitantly replied in a soft voice lacking confidence. "I'm feeling fine. Thank you for asking."
Actually, it still hurt to breath normally and hurt even more to simply move, but she didn't want to say that. It could come off as a complaint and that was far from what she wanted to do. She looked away from the nurse insecurely, searching with her eyes for something to stare at. In response, the nurse simply smiled and turned to open the curtains and windows, allowing the light breeze of the spring morning to flow in. The breeze caressed Chiyo's cheek and she could feel herself relax. Nature had that affect on her, and she briefly wondered if some of her insecurity stemmed from being confined in an unfamiliar room, especially one lacking in plants and books to adorn it.
She sighed. Being hospitalized wasn't enjoyable and her very many moments of deep thinking only made her feel worse. The pain in particular did nothing to ease her mind but instead attributed to her thoughts of negativity.
"Let's prop you up into a more comfortable position, okay?" the nurse kindly said as she began helping Chiyo readjust herself. "I'll bring you your breakfast shortly."
As was always Chiyo's natural reaction to others, she felt shy and her cheeks adopted a rosy hue. It would take a while to get used to having someone take care of her in bed, but she reasoned with herself that she could've been worse off with a far less fortunate alternative, so she ought to be more appreciative of her circumstances.
"Thank you," she murmured, once situated into a sitting position. Her torso throbbed, but she did her best not to grimace. The nurse nodded and excused herself, but not before mentioning one last thing.
"Oh, and you're open for visitations, Chiyo. Maybe having some friends over will cheer you up."
Chiyo's eyebrows rose at that statement. Friends...? That's right, I have friends. And they can come here, too.... How could I have forgotten? Several faces popped up in her mind and surprisingly, she found herself smiling with a growing sense of giddiness in her chest. Would anyone come to visit her? Glancing at the door, her eyes twinkled with a bit of excitement as she hoped someone would come to see her. Though, it didn't occur to her that someone horrible could come to visit her, too. Not that it was likely, anyway. Right?

"Chiyo. Drink this."
no subject
"K-Kyogre...?" she said stunned, staring up at him. She heard his instructions and then blinked at the bottle of water sitting in front of her.
I-It's quite big... Tentatively, she picked it up to observe it. What kind of water is this?
Still dumbfounded, she asked, "All of it?" It sure would take a while if she had to drink it all in one go.
no subject
"Not all of it. It'll start the healing from the inside out. Maybe it'll even work faster for you, since you're so watery, yes?"
He pulled up a chair next to her bed, managing to look slightly uncomfortable.
"Ah... I'm sorry to see you in here."
no subject
Letting out a small sigh, she glanced at the water bottle with a bit of guilt in her expression before turning to Kyogre and smiling gratefully.
"Thank you... for this." She held up the bottle to show what she was thanking him for. "And for coming to see me. I'm really happy to see someone I know here, especially another Pokemon like me."
She grew bashful from saying that and went on to pour herself a glass of the water. After taking a sip, her expression lightened up and she commented on how wonderful it tasted and made her feel.

His visit came late in the day. He poked his long, muzzled face into the room first to make sure there were no other visitors, before clearing his throat to announce his presence.
no subject
"Jon! Hello," she greeted, mood brightening with his presence. "How are you?"
no subject
"How are YOU is a more pressing question. They treating you alright in here, then?"
He wasn't a particularly trusting person to begin with, but hospitals gave him the willies. So stark and clinical and filled with people that made money off of the illnesses and injuries of others? No thanks!

Invisible to most due to her special abilities as a Saber, Ellistree made her way up and down the hospital in search of someone, anyone. That's why when she found Chiyo, her heart sank a little. Someone so innocent getting hurt in this petty war between sides... It made her blood boil ever so slightly, but she was here to see her friend.
After the nurse had left, Ellistree made sure no one was in sight before coming out, seemingly out of thin air in her Saber form and smiling at Chiyo with a concerned look as she shifted into her human form.
"Chiyo... Are you okay?"
no subject
"E-Ellistree!" she exclaimed in shock. "W-Where did you come from?"
She took in Ellistree's features, having missed the sight and presence of her friend. Then she caught on to Ellistree's concerned look and gave her a reassuring smile, albeit a bit of a strained one.
"I'm okay.... Thanks for coming to see me."
no subject
She smiled, moving closer to check up on Chiyo, trying to spot the injuries.
"You look like you got into a scuffle..." A bad one at that... "I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you... If you wish, I can call upon my healing powers to speed your recovery sweetheart."
She really did look upset that she couldn't help her friend avoid what happened.

The tiebreaker in his mind ended up being the fact that whatever her problem with him, he wanted to show he was willing to make peace. So when he had time to visit, he arrived and knocked on the door, hesitantly making his presence known. "Uh... Hello?"
no subject
She didn't recognize his face either and wondered who this person could be. Was he lost? Looking for someone else? But... he kind of felt familiar in a way. She just couldn't place what way that was in. A bit of anxiety started seeping into her, as was usual when she met people unfamiliar to her. Well, actually, just anyone in general, really.
"Um... C-Can I help you?" she asked nervously.

I am so late sob.
Seth had it in mind to stop and check up on Chiyo, and he came bearing gifts!
"Hello?" His knuckle rasped softly on the door and pushed it open before she could answer, a small bundle of white flowers in one hand, a small ornately-wrapped box in the other.
"Are you here?"
There was something about how vulnerable she sounded over the network that had him just itching to dig further into the wound. That, and, she was new around here. She wouldn't know any better that Seth's gifts were anything but sweet.
NO WORRIES. You are too cool to be late. Therefore, you are never late.
"Are you... Are you the one I spoke to on the network sometime ago?" She hoped she was right for she'd feel terribly embarrassed if she was wrong.
no subject
Didn't want to spook her or anything.
"That's right." He purred. "You remember me. I thought I would just stop by and see how you're doing. I heard about what happened. Do you like sweets?"

"Red!" she exclaimed happily, more than pleasantly surprised to see him. Her eyes widened when she saw what he was holding and she felt extremely excited. "It's so nice to see you! Did you... did you come to visit me?"
She normally wouldn't ask such a question, but she really hoped he was.

April 26 - Late Morning
That was meant for me, Voile thought as she was shown the way to Chiyo's room.
Standing outside for a few moments longer, she waited before she showed herself in. Holding a bouquet of dahlia flowers, she gave a rather modest smile. And then gently knocked upon the door frame as she stopped just inside.
"Miss...?"
no subject
"Ah. It's you! Hello!" she said, pleasantly surprised and with a smile. Her eyes were filled with warmth as she looked at Voile, and she exuded an aura of welcome and friendliness. "P... Please, come in! I'm happy to see that you're doing okay."
no subject
As Voile showed herself in, she went through the trouble of locating a vase to put her bouquet in. Then she set it to the closest end table to Chiyo. Afterward, she carefully seated herself at the edge of her bed and eyed the Vaporeon closely.
"How are you feeling? You took quite the beating from those guys. Are you recovering all right?"

April 25 - Late Afternoon
She would have to be everything for them both and it would be no easy task.
How he found his way into Chiyo's room was entirely unintentional. He had ducked into each one, partially hoping to find Furiae. Partially not. Mostly not. It was a difficult position to be in. When he did catch an eyeful of blue hair, his pace did slow and unsure of what to do considering the previous rooms had been empty, he stiffly folded an arm across his chest and gave an awkward bow.
no subject
"Uh. Um..." She managed to find her voice and somehow found herself quite embarrassed with this situation. She was really confused. And he wasn't saying anything either. "Are you... Ah. H-Hello... Can I... help you?"
Now she was wondering if that was a bow in apology or a bow in greeting. It was hard to tell. But, in any case, it was best to have said hello instead of immediately assuming he was lost and asking if he was. She just hoped... she could help him out if he needed it.
no subject
But only for a little - or so he told himself.
Another glance about, which was probably transparent of his idle concern for his sister, and as he stopped just close enough for her to get a better look at him, he reached for his pad of paper. And a pen.
I did not mean to intrude. I was looking for someone.
Am, he thought to himself, but that didn't seem particularly pertinent to the conversation.
