Airships are Fun
Who: Cid, the crew of the Highwind, and YOU!
What: Tours!
Where: Fields next to campus
When: March 8th, from 9am.
Warnings: Language. I don't foresee anything else, but who knows with Smash.
Over the past few days, flyers had been hung around campus, and the city, telling of a day long open house on the Highwind. See the sights, ask the crew and captain questions, and learn about the history of air travel! Look out on Friday, for an educational and fun experience!
As nine in the morning approaches, so to does an airship, drifting slowly from the airport. It circles the campus, before coming to a rest in the field to the west, on the other side of the parking lot. A few rope ladders are tossed over the side, and a large entrance ramp is let down. Cid steps out, and into the morning sun, a number of his crew showing behind. "Alright, you lot." He turns to face them all. "Don't let them break anything on my girl. This thing is quickly becoming a classic, and I don't want to lose it like we did with the first Highwind, y'hear?" The gathered crew nods, and moves to their appointed stations, either as tour guides, or to keep up maintenance and explain systems.
Will you come see the sights? The whole ship is open to you, and the captain is on the Deck, occasionally strolling about inside to check up on things and greet people.
((The Highwind II is a near replica of the first Highwind, destroyed at the end of FFVII. This is because Matt didn't want to keep getting confused referencing Shera as a wife and an airship. All locations are open to see. See here for a list of locations. There is even a blue chocobo in the stables!))
