Nabooru was, of course, just arrogant enough to think that she would prove the kid wrong. She wasn't as good at archery as - say, Shinon - but she could certainly hold her own and she definitely had a natural talent for it, training aside. So she started out confident, even looked smug. But it didn't last long. When her arrow stopped, she started to move.

Then she stopped rather abruptly and finally looked over to Apple Kid. Then she jerked her thumb over to her stationary arrow. "What's that all about?"
