There was no way to hide the frown in her features, and she was, at once, relieved it was dark. Part of her thought it was karmic retribution. If Seth turned out to be a horrible person, it was fitting, wasn't it? But did she really deserve something like that? No. There was no way.

She shouldn't bring it up. She shouldn't act like she knew anything either. Otherwise Seth would notice she was distancing herself. If he asked her why, could she lie? No. Voile couldn't. She couldn't condone of doing that.
