[want to help amy and daisy set up for the party? are the decorations not to your liking? or perhaps you like them a little too much? maybe you're a concerned neighbor wondering what in blazes is going on? any pre-party shenanigans are welcome here! cooking, cleaning, decorating, throwing flyers at people-- the sky's the limit!]

[How could you not like a palace? Like seriously? And it was ready for the holidays!]

This party's going to be great!

[what kind of christmas party would this be without eggnog and cookies? --what do you mean you're lactose intolerant? don't worry, there's punch, pies, cakes, crackers, soda-- everything a good party needs! but no alcohol ~~as far as amy knows~~, okay? there are kids here! help yourself, everything's bound to be delicious!]

[ oh, why, oh why was he convinced to show up here? Sonic really was good at worming him into the worst things, including something as bubbly and cheery and obnoxious as a Christmas party. granted, Shadow also didn't terribly mind that it was being run by miss Amy Rose herself, and her presence was... well, it was tolerable enough. he didn't enjoy being around her, nope. not one bit.

so he sank into the nearest chair, having grabbed some petite fours and started munching on them. he had to say this much, at least the food was fine. ]

[Parties? X was never much of a party animal, preferring to do things in small groups with close friends rather than anything large and extravagant, but he figured he'd make an exception and give this 'huge social event' thing a shot.

...well, as well of a shot as he could have. There was a dance floor, complete with music that he hadn't heard before, and a couch that looked hella comfy.
