Small digits curled around Phoenix's hand and, oddly enough, she was very gentle. He could arguably break free and make a run for it, but she'd shoot him, there was no question about it. Well... she would have to miss on purpose, but she could only believe he wouldn't be stupid enough to take the risk.

As quick as a child's feet could guide an adult's, Vivian lead Phoenix to her leader, humming a little song with no real beginning or end and most certainly no sensical pattern. Unlike their set path, the tune went wherever she wanted it to go and on occasion, her finger tips would drum lightly against Nick's larger hand. She grew very silent when they came closer to GLaDOS, as if singing were forbidden in such a dark place.

Her job was done. She had brought the spiky-haired man to be dealt with and she knew GLaDOS would be content. That was all she wanted!
