The Framing of Justice
Who: People and Caim
What: This is a catch all.
When: November 26 ~ November 30
Where: See the aforementioned cut.
Warning: Probably not.
What is this? Why, it's a 'catch-all' log. Very simple!
Caim doesn't have an office, unfortunately. You can find him in any number of places, however, between the dates listed previously. So if you're looking to... 'talk' with the mute, try looking in the following.
♦ Personal Quarters - TD-07 (It's a very organised and somewhat barren room.)
♦ Fencing Classroom - (There's not much in here yet.)
♦ Greenhouse
♦ The Lake
He's available for talking to, whether you're interrogating him over past events, recentdick cat events, future events, or if you've never met the man at all.
Make a separate thread for each character and in the subject line, specify an approximate time, day, and location. Action or prose, either's fine. Backdate, futuredate - whatever is convenient for you. That's all you need to do!
INSTANT MUTE MAGIC!

So in response, Phoenix nodded, confirming those words. "Okay. I believe you."
He handed the paper back to Caim before he continued asking questions. "But... do you know why anyone here would want to frame you?" It was somewhat of a longshot question, as a killer could have any kind of motive for doing such. It could be mere convenience since Caim was a known killer, or it could be one of his enemies. Who knows.

And in hindsight, Caim hadn't considered any other option. Any enemy of his could have been any number of people. In fact, he was pretty sure the number of people who didn't dislike him were in single digits. Everyone else was completely a suspect, as far as he was concerned.
I am convenient, am I not? We can narrow it down to people present in my prior stay. Someone who knew what I did. Someone who knew me remotely, or of me. Someone who paid attention to the investigation and my crimes.
He looked over to Phoenix with some thought. I know only a little of what you did where you come from. You have said you are a defender of the truth and I suppose that would mean you are to defend me this time. We will need to narrow down the others who were capable of this scheme.

While reading the words, Phoenix nodded at first, agreeing with the sentiment about the murderer being someone who had been present while Caim committed his initial murders. At least, that was the most likely explanation. Someone later on could have heard about it and mimicked it...
And then he nodded when he read the next statement, then looked back at Caim. "Yes, if you're truly innocent, then I do mean to defend you." He paused and then sighed. "Of course, I'm far from happy about the murders you committed before but... it just doesn't seem likely that you did it this time." He managed a weak smile then at Caim, attempting to get on his good graces to a degree. "Thank you for your help then."
