Pokedate 3: Yellow/Green Versions
Who: Jolt and Voile and angry stalkers
What: Jolt and Voile have a spontaneous date (OR IS IT?). Fluff ensues
Where: Out on the town
When: Friday after classes
Warnings: FLUFF
YES. DONE. FINALLY. Jolt loved fridays so much. Why? Because it meant WEEKEND. And that CLASSES WERE FINALLY OVER FOR THE WEEK. That fact could not be overstated.
Jolt was the first one out the door when his last class was done, and his first stop was a water fountain. What Jolt really wanted was to go for a run, but with the weather getting colder, doing so in human form was getting less pleasant. Maybe the arena could accomodate him...
But as he sipped at the water fountain, little did he realize that he was soon to have a date.
A date with destiny.

Such as a lack of closure.
Yet when she'd spied Jolt in all of his haste, she thought to cleverly follow after him, which seemed less like following and more like just trying to escape from class. And after waiting patiently behind him as he took his time at the water fountain, she hugged one of her textbooks to her chest with a bit of a small smile.
"Hi," was the graceful greeting she managed to give.

"Only a few moments," Voile replied to him, a little amused. "I saw you leave your class and I just got out of mine as well. I thought I would come see how you were doing since we have not talked recently."
In other words, she was trying to be more sociable as a whole rather than closing herself up like a flower in winter. ...Provided she was a flower who could survive the cold.

"My classes are done. The one I got out of just a few minutes ago was my last one for today." Her expression brightened at his invitation and she looked around momentarily before placing her eyes back onto him. "That sounds nice, Jolt. You can tell me about your classes and what you've been occupying yourself with lately."

"Bubble tea?" she parroted with interested. "Is that literal? Bubbles in tea? I've never even heard of it. I do like tea, though." But she got the feeling that she wasn't as nearly a fan of it the way Vinnie was.

And as if to address that, she continued, "I didn't take you for being one fond of tea, actually."

As they entered the store, he said, "I'm not, usually. But hey, this is tasty, so I make an exception! So, what flavour do you want to try?" he asked.

She knew better than to ask something like that. She also supposed he had a valid point. After all, he was pretty odd, but she enjoyed her time with him. Voile was still thinking over that when he'd addressed her on the kind she'd have.
As her chin tipped up to eye the menu board, she idly toyed with the pendant adorning her neck, like it were some awkward tic. "Hum... Apple, I think. I like bitter things and green apples are usually bitter." Then she looked over to him with a smile, "What are you getting? I doubt they make bacon tea."

He put in their order, and while the drinks were being prepared, he noticed her playing with the pendant. "You seem real intent on that necklace of yours," he mentioned.

As he addressed her, her hand stopped almost immediately and sheepishly she drew it away. "Oh... I guess I'm a little fidgety." It wasn't hard for her to admit, but for Voile to say she was everlastingly confident was a bit of an unfortunate falsehood. If she seemed confident, it must have been a ruse a good chunk of the time.

"Nah, it's cool," he said, taking the drinks and offering one to Voile. "It's a neat looking pendant. What is it?" he asked.

She moved her free hand to indicate just at the centre of her bust. "--and a rounded backside to it here--" Then to a few inches above the small of her back.
"I have absolutely no idea what it is actually there for, so I suppose aesthetic, but my human form was kind enough to provide the same red triangle in this pendant instead. But these--" she tipped her head, so he could better view her 'ear' spikes. "--are still the same."

It was very upfront, perhaps a little brazen, but Voile meant it earnestly and often wore her thoughts on her sleeve when they involved other people. She watched him go on display for her and even chuckled a little when she saw his tail. She got off fortunate, she supposed. Gardevoir were already very similar to humans in form. She hadn't had to change much.
"All of you is fine. It's very intriguing. I look at you and have a hard time forgetting. I don't know anyone else here quite with eyes like yours. Perhaps similar, but not at all the same. You are one of a kind, Jolt."
no subject
He cocked his head, smiling at her. "So're you," he told her.
no subject
She moved to sit down and leaned over the table to pat its surface in hopes of getting him to join her. "I'm like any other Gardevoir.. Really. So don't flatter me too much." But she clearly enjoyed it with the way she was smiling.

"Yes," she conceded, though it was probably not completely coherent. "I guess you have a good point." After a few moments of her consideration, she continued. "What other things do you like to do, other than compliment girls? And eat bacon?"

She simply stared at him for a few moments and then she finally nodded. Right. Because he had a trainer. They lived in two entirely different worlds, after all. "It must be a very busy life and schedule for you and the rest of your team. I've never done the gym pathway or anything like that, so I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like."
