You're looking for your car, but you're all turned around...
Who: ALL YOU CRAZY KIDS
What: SLENDERVENTURES
Where: DA WOODS.
When: All Halloween night.
Warnings: Spooky stuff.
You're walking in the woods.
There's no one around,
And your phone is dead.
Out of the corner of your eye, you spot him…

Better start running.
[Here is a multi-purpose log for all slenderventures! Please refer to the event post for details, and be sure to put a time/location in your subject line. You are welcome to NPC Slenderman yourselves, but if you'd like a modtype can certainly do so. Let us know if you have any questions.]

9PM - In the forest clearing
Sophie didn't even want to inquire, it seemed too weird for her tastes. She'd rather tend to one of her gardens.
It was late at night for that sort of thing, but this was where Sophie felt most like at home. Though thinking of home right now made her still sad...She had to go back and see Asbel.
...But for now, she must check on her flowers. No matter what the implication, flowers always made her feel at least little happy. She hummed to herself as she looked at her flowers and enjoyed the quiet. That was until she felt she wasn't alone anymore.
Oct 31st - some time at night, like 10 or something
He escaped to one of his usual secluded areas, the forest. However, there was something different about it tonight. Something eerie. Byrne had dealt with all kinds of enemies before, even nearly having his life ended by a demon lord, so he wasn't terribly scared. Just cautious.
He knew he wasn't alone, though.
A time after meeting up with their teams - They'll get in the woods eventuallyyyy
Especially when he wasn't really worried about it. He had the carefree enthusiasm of a toddler and the mentality to match. It didn't really seem like it would be a big deal if he wandered off when the three older boys weren't looking. He wanted to explore and stick his nose in things and find someone to play with that could keep up.
Dear Future Playmate, he was looking for you in the long grass. Though he was not terribly far from some lanterns, because that much remained the same about his mentality.
oops still elusive to his team
He'd already searched the greenhouse, the courtyard, the fields, and he had investigated the glowing orange gourd display from a distance, but she wasn't there. So now naturally, the only place Celebi would be found was in the wild wood, he reasoned with his baby Bulbsaur mind. That was where he was going.
Rustle rustle rustle.
whoops
Rustle rustle.
POUNCE.
The sneaky Bulbasaur's progress was interrupted by a shiny menace from the side as Bulba unveiled his totally honed and precise predatory skills. (He leapt noisily from the grass besides Vinnie.)
"Ba!"
Boo? Ba.
no subject
Sorry, Bulba. There they went, the two of them, tumbling forcefully through the grass.

That tackle had been a little more legit than Bulba had been anticipating, but that was still pretty okay. As far as his brain was translating, this was a Fun Tussle, not a Bad Tussle, even if that sort of smarted. So off they went through the grass, one grumbling and one giggling.
In the middle of this good (?) time, the smaller saur nuzzled his nose up in Vinnie's face with a big grin. There was only one other saur on campus, after all, so there was no doubt in Bulba's mind who this mystery saur he had pounced on was.

10/31 - Late Night - Soryk's 'Fortress'
Had he seen something? Was it simply his imagination?
The man had spent more than enough time in forests, and not simply this one either. If he knew anything, it was how to survive. Patting the handles of his daggers at his waist, he found himself staring off into the eerie night accented by shadows, occasional lights, and miscellaneous sounds.
Do bring it on, he thought.
around 10:30PM way in the woods
There was a problem with that, however. She got lost once again. She underestimated how far in her search took her. Not good. Trying to keep her mind clear, she began walking in the opposite direction that she started with. But she couldn't shake the feeling that someone else was there.
Re: around 10:30PM way in the woods
Sonic lingered in the trees for the most part, but tonight he was on the forest floor, poking his head into the hollow of a tree trunk. He was checking out some squirrel's house to give an opinion. Acorns on the left, or acorns on the right? This was a difficult call and the couple inside was about to duke it out over the matter.
The crunching of dry leaves startled him to the point he smacked the back of his skull on the tree while pulling it out, turning to see exactly what made that sound.
And lookie who!
"Noel?" What was she doing here again? "Noel!" He repeated, louder this time.
no subject
Just the guy she was looking for.
"O-Oh... S-Sonic..." She paused, taking a deep breath and exhaling sharply, then continuing. "I found you..."
no subject
He approached with a tilt of his head, a confused expression in play but not before a happy one. "The one 'n only!" He'd been in a considerably better mood since he'd seen some people, got some blankets from Shadow, and gone to check on Blaze, so Noel was offered a bit of a smile. It faded when he asked, "But what're ya doin' way out here?" Sonic had gone pretty deep into the forest tonight. He wasn't expecting visitors.
no subject
"I was looking for you... to see how you were doing." She was worried for him, really. But her own smile disappears before adding more truth to that statement.
"But, I g-guess I got lost again." Noel's gaze shifts to the ground and her shoulders slump, ashamed of her screw-up once again. She mentally criticized herself for losing her way again and sighed quietly.

Approaching Noel, Sonic reached up to pat her back. "But you found me! So you can't be all that lost."
princess slenderventures
She wasn't sure what it was, yet, but she did know that something felt off. As an RA, her self-imposed duties extended to keeping the students safe, so if something was wrong with the forest, Zelda was going to take it on herself to investigate.
She wasn't defenseless--far from it, in fact, but she seemed wary to enter anyway, lingering at the edge as if waiting for the abnormality to meet her in the middle.
Re: princess slenderventures
"Are you SURE you want to do this?" Daisy whispered.

"There's something very wrong out there, and I think we'd do well to find out what it is while it's still in the forest."

"There's only one thing to do, I think," Zelda replied after another moment. "Shall we?"

10pm, kind of deep inside.

Re: 10pm, kind of deep inside.
She shook her head. She's been to this forest a lot of times this month to work on her running flying through obstacles, and it was always... usually peaceful with silly people found left and right.
But it did look spooky tonight. Some forces probably decked it up this way for halloween.

As they ventured deeper into the woods, Kazooie saw something odd in the distance. Like a figure of something. Maybe that was the witch she heard earlier?
If not, maybe it knows something. She tapped Banjo's shoulder and pointed in that direction.
