"I will be fine," he breathed, understanding the meaning behind his actions. "We must stay out of sight, and it knows where I live... so we cannot remain here much longer or go to my room."

N paused, eyeing him warily. In fact, he hadn't heard a peep out of him since this whole thing started. Not a word. That was already worrying him, and he was not about to leave that unquestioned.
