Office Log
Who: Rhys and you!
What: Office log! ...Can also be called "help nurse" log.
When: Dates of 10/21 - 10/28 but you can also go for something earlier/later than that if convenient
Where: Infirmary or Rhys’s office, which is just inside the infirmary.
Warnings: THERE COULD BE CARNAGE AND PESTILENCE HERE. There may also be tripping out due to candy drugs.
We're all familiar with office logs around here, right? If you're not, then allow me to explain really quickly: Your dude stops in for any reason whatsoever, be it trouble with grades, asking permission for something, stopping to chat, dropping off a form, and other office-like concerns. Or even miscellaneous concerns. Then we'll take it away from there. Rhys is a bit of a special case, since he runs the infirmary. That means you could also drag yourself in with some kind of unbearable ailment or crippling injury and have Rhys get you treated. Have a status condition? Never fear, solutions are here! Got in a fight with your arch nemesis in the locker room? Bleed no more; there’s plenty of bandages and/or heal staves to go around! Usually.
ANOTHER THING I WOULD LIKE TO ENCOURAGE: Is your character hopped up on drugs? Drop them in! I don’t care what reason they would have to stumble in. I just want Rhys to have to deal with druggies and raise his suspicion about the whole drug deal further. That being said, I request at least one of his patients to be under the influence. That is all! Have fun.

ur gay
"Cress...?" he mumbled, comprehending his brother's promise, albeit a tad delayed. "Am I in the hospital?"
gay and fully functional

Oh, good. He was talking after all. Cress stood up straighter and told him, "You're close, but not exact. This is the infirmary. I heard you got mixed up in a fight." Was that a trace of displeasure you heard in his voice? Must be the wind.

It was too soon for Chili to pick up on conversational subtleties like that. He looked around the room absently before focusing his attention back on Cress. "Yeah, I remember. I lost."
He sounds defeated, definitely.

"Yes. So it seems. And now, you're here. ...Why did you go and do an outrageous thing like that?"
no subject
That seemed to fit the bill. He squeezed his eyes shut and groaned, trying to remember the events before he fell unconscious.

"Yeah, whatever. Talk down to me all you want, I guess it's pretty easy to do it while I'm already burnt out," mumbled Chili, looking away from his brother entirely. Cress's attitude seemed to be grating on Chili's nerves, but in a way he couldn't respond to with his characteristic fury. He wasn't about to be receptive to lecture at a time like this.

"I won't make you talk so much right now. You may explain yourself later. Please rest." He reached over to place his hand over his shoulder.

Chili wouldn't need to complete his sentence that his current troubles wouldn't complete for themselves in order for his brother to understand. It was clear that he was referring to their skipping out on N's Castle.

Cress too succumbed to the darkness of his eyelids as he squeezed Chili's shoulder. In a low voice, he said, "None of us do. But we must accept that until we can grow stronger, there are just some fights that we cannot win."
no subject
"...Maybe that's what you want to do," said Chili, slow and deliberate. He took a deep breath - as deep as his battered form would allow. "But that's now how I'd imagine myself getting stronger." And he felt it was only right for him to do what he thought would work best. That's what training yourself independently was about. Right?

"Yeah... Fine. I will."

"That is what I wanted to hear." A stool stood next to the cot on the other side, and once Cress eyed it, he inched closer and scooted it next to Chili's bed so that he may have somewhere to sit. Taking his position, he relaxed and set his eased gaze back on Chili.
"You really are something else, though. I'd normally call it stupidity, but... today, Cress will cut you some slack and call it guts instead."
