Well, it was as the Mantine had promised to his new friend(?) on Wednesday. Harvey was waiting on the school gate during morning. He hoped, while it was the weekend, maybe there won't be too many people riding the bus. It's kinda unfortunate, even though he's classified having flying as a secondary type for his species, he's not very likely to learn TMs such as fly; it would have been pretty handy too...

Ah well, it doesn't necessarily bother him much. He looked around left and right in case of the other had shown up soon.

Maybe Harvey should have looked up instead as a large shadow passed over him. A large storm crow swooped down and promptly 'poofed' into the woman he had spoken to. She seemed to have already been in a bathing suit and carrying a small bag with her, all smiles as she saw her new friend.

"Hello! I hope I didn't make you wait too long." she mused as she moved over closer.

[assuasive]

That was an interesting entrance... something he sincerely hasn't seen before, but Harvey try not to vocalize his curiosity. Being that it might be a bit rude and all.

Instead he shook his head as he said, "not at all, a bus should be arriving nearby in fact."

"Great!" Elli looked around and smiled before turning to look at him. After a once over to satisfy her curiosity, for now, she gave an official bow and nodded, "Now to do proper introductions~ I am Ellistree Moonshadow of the Moonshadow House, eldest daughter and ex-Marshal of the Evergreen Sentinels." She sounded serious but always wore a smile on her face.

After that, she relaxed and laughed a little, "Sorry, just following policy and all, never gets old!" In fact, she had always found it amusing that you had to state your name as such when you were part of the military she came from.

"But really, Elli or Ellistree is fine! I'm happy to be able to do this! Thank you very much for the invitation!"

[assuasive]

That earned Ellistree a small chuckle from Harvey. He's genuinely impressed, it seems like she already achieved quite a few things, considering her status as ex-Marshal; although he's not entirely sure what the Evergreen Sentinels, he makes a note to look it up later however.

But right, proper introductions right.

"Well, my name is Harvey, I'm a Mantine." He tries to recall anything interesting to add, but really, all he could remember is his track record of past trainers... "And well, that's pretty much it, I don't have a status or job before," he sheepishly explained.

"A Mantine? Is that a race native to this world then?" she asked curiously as she gave him a once over wanting to record exactly how he looked.

"Eh it doesn't matter the list of things you've done, what matters most is how much you've enjoyed your life!"

[assuasive]

He nodded, "I'm a Pokemon, though species wise- I'm a Matine which is a water-type." Without how much it goes to say why he likes the ocean and all that, he thought to himself.

"Though this isn't my real form, just the one I go for the sake of every day convenience."

[luneshalla]

"Oh! Oh I see, I remember meeting a few of you, well not you-you but other Pokemon! They're rather interesting I've never met creatures like you. And I have to say, the chance to speak with your kind through this ability of transforming is a blessing."

[assuasive]

Harvey had winced, "it's a blessing of sort, yeah."

It wasn't that it's curse, but rather that it's less than fortunate for him- because sometimes it reminds him about a certain trainer and how much painstaking work had gone through to just to even please him the slightest.

Ellistree tilted her head curiously and was about to ask, but decided against it. It'd be rude to pry so soon after meeting. Mayhaps it'd be a tale for another time should she remember.

"Usually only us druids can speak with nature, the plants and the animals. Shaman can do so as well, but we speak in their language. This is totally different! This would make any others be able to listen... But enough about me not knowing anything about this world and being easily excited." she winked playfully and laughed.

"How do you like it here?"

[assuasive]

The Mantine chuckled a bit, "it's somewhat peaceful, to say the least."

He then added, "not exactly peaceful- more of lighthearted? I really don't do much in my day before going to the academy, apart from taking care of my old trainer." Which had ended more sheepishly than he intended.

Well, that's much of that isn't it? Shouldn't the bus be here some time soon, he thought to himself.

And, as of timing, the bus had finally come up.

"It'll take a few stops before we get to the beach, but it won't be long." He explained to Ellis.

"Oh? So you're a guardian of sorts?" she asked curiously as the bus pulled over the side next to them. She'd have to get her answer later as she picked up her things and moved along with him.

"I don't mind the wait really, the journey to the destination is part of the adventure as well."

[assuasive]

"Something like that," he sheepishly said. It was something to muse about to himself later however.

"True, in the mean time, talking with a friend during travels are pretty fun."

[luneshalla]

"A friend can be the cure to boredom, sadness, anger and many other things. It is definitely a valuable treasure to have." Elli mused as she settled down on a vacant seat and looked out the window.

"There's so much out there, I can't wait to reach our destination and enjoy the seas of this world~"

[assuasive]

"It's a nice spot," he nodded in agreement before continuing. "I've talked some of the locals there, they're rather polite than some."

Although, his definition of polite can be considered pretty wide...

"I do hope they have new and varied cuisine! I just love tasting new things~ And cooking can say a lot about a culture..."

she blushed sheepishly and laughed a little. "I personally was never very good at cooking myself but still!" Then again, when you just eat it raw when you're hunting as a saber, you really don't need to cook it...
