It's that time again, where the school's impressive auditorium is filled with rows and rows of folding chairs, and prospective buyers take a seat while those waiting to be sold line up on the stage. At the podium, there is Seth Richardson; looking both thrilled and not thrilled to be here.

"Welcome, everyone to our Student-Faculty Auction! As you may or may not know, Host Club has invested a fair share of funding into this event to make it as wonderful as it should be. You should thank everyone in Host Club for all their hard work."

Yes, it had taken a rather large exertion on his part, and yes he was sure he could think of better things to do but, if all went well, his investment would see, ahem, some return in his own pocket.

Not that anyone needed to know that.

"Let's get started, shall we?"


[[APOLOGIES FOR THE DELAY FOLKS. At this and pretty much everything this event. We'll use this experience and future-date things a week in advance next time. There are some RULES TO THIS AUCTION so PLEASE READ:

• Help us and your fellow players out by also commenting in the TITLE with your BIDDING AMOUNT.
  
• Try be IC with character's money amounts... or lack thereof. We are pretty flexible and want you to have fun and you are allowed creative work-arounds; lying and loan sharks and playing out the subsequent consequences of those sorts of things are excellent options I fully endorse.
  
• One purchase per person. Bidding on multiple people is very encouraged, but you will only walk out of here with one.
  
• People in the auctions are allowed to bid on other people in the auctions.
  
• Auctioned people can come with a highly recommended Crazy Hand brand obedience collar™. These will be optional OOC, but if you utilize them they will be mandatory IC.
  
• If you don't see a thread for your character and you want in, don't hesitate to make one for yourself! If you see a thread for your character and you want out, don't comment or (preferably) leave a note and we can delete no problem.
  
• We'll try to help you as far as clarifying who wins who, but this will primarily be left up to player discretion. Use of ((OOC NOTES)) is highly recommended as RNG will not be involved. Unless. You want it to.

But the third blonde certainly was, and found herself leaping into action the moment she saw that blade go where it wasn't supposed to.

"Damn it," She hissed and went for Blacky's wrist. First thing; get that weapon out of her hand. Second; break her wrist if she didn't oblige. Hands were still a weapon, knife or no knife, as Samus was sure to prove.

Yelling what the hell is wrong with you seemed like a rather redundant question, especially for both parties involved, so the bounty hunter opted for a more direct and commanding, "Blacky stop!!"

Even before she started, Blacky fully expected someone to intervene. In a way, she was even hoping for it, since actually killing someone was beyond her. But having lost herself in the moment, she was genuinely surprised when Samus grabbed her wrist, and her immediate reaction was to try to jerk her arm away... for all the good that did against Samus' strength. The knife was relinquished, leaving only blood on her hands.

Oh god, she stabbed someone.

"...H-he asked me to! I was only following orders!"

Good rationalizing, Blacky. That makes it all better.

Last thing he was was his hand covered in his own human blood before he blacked out.

Yeah, come talk to Samus later about that combat high. In the meantime she was going to kick the bloodied blade away and likewise gave a little kick to the back of Blacky's leg to try and get her on the ground.

"That doesn't make it right!"

Simply marvelous.

"Excuse me, could someone come and clean this corpse up? He's bleeding all over the stage and getting it dirty."

Blacky dropped to one knee, not bothering to fight back against UNWARRANTED POLICE BRUTALITY perfectly necessary brutality. The fire was gone, and her hands were too trembling to strike out again even if she still had the knife.

"I killed him, didn't I?"

Or he looked dead as far as she was concerned, anyway. She should have felt glad for it. She wanted to.

"Oh my god, I killed Leon!" I'm a bastard!

No response. It's just an unconscious carcass face down on the floor festering in a pool of his own blood.

Samus could deal with violence and escorting unconscious carcasses down to the nurse's office slash infirmary, but the emotional aspect was not something she knew how to handle very well.

"Just... calm down."

About as well as Blacky was handling stabbing a guy x number of times.

"He's not dead yet. We'll get him patched up."

Which, really, had to happen soon. Samus tentatively let go of Blacky and hefted Leon into her arms, almost glad for the excuse to get off this stupid stage for a few minutes, bloodied and festering as it were.

"He's not?" KILL HIM AGAIN. Actually, that was an awful thing to be thinking right now. Not that that made it any easier not to think it. At least she had a little more control over her own actions now, doing little more than casting a wary glance where the knife was kicked and leaving it alone.

"...Get him to the infirmary, then... or hospital..." She stared at her hands, afraid to look up at whoever was watching that whole thing. Also afraid of Warren's deadly boner. "Hurry."

Without another word or anything more than an affirmative nod, Samus hopped off stage and make brisk tracks for the infirmary.

Blacky deserved words in her opinion, but they could come later, as bleeding bodies were more important.

"Yes, well, if we're all done with theatrics here, someone go get a mop. I still have an auction to run."
