It's that time again, where the school's impressive auditorium is filled with rows and rows of folding chairs, and prospective buyers take a seat while those waiting to be sold line up on the stage. At the podium, there is Seth Richardson; looking both thrilled and not thrilled to be here.

"Welcome, everyone to our Student-Faculty Auction! As you may or may not know, Host Club has invested a fair share of funding into this event to make it as wonderful as it should be. You should thank everyone in Host Club for all their hard work."

Yes, it had taken a rather large exertion on his part, and yes he was sure he could think of better things to do but, if all went well, his investment would see, ahem, some return in his own pocket.

Not that anyone needed to know that.

"Let's get started, shall we?"


[[APOLOGIES FOR THE DELAY FOLKS. At this and pretty much everything this event. We'll use this experience and future-date things a week in advance next time. There are some RULES TO THIS AUCTION so PLEASE READ:

• Help us and your fellow players out by also commenting in the TITLE with your BIDDING AMOUNT.
  
• Try be IC with character's money amounts... or lack thereof. We are pretty flexible and want you to have fun and you are allowed creative work-arounds; lying and loan sharks and playing out the subsequent consequences of those sorts of things are excellent options I fully endorse.
  
• One purchase per person. Bidding on multiple people is very encouraged, but you will only walk out of here with one.
  
• People in the auctions are allowed to bid on other people in the auctions.
  
• Auctioned people can come with a highly recommended Crazy Hand brand obedience collar™. These will be optional OOC, but if you utilize them they will be mandatory IC.
  
• If you don't see a thread for your character and you want in, don't hesitate to make one for yourself! If you see a thread for your character and you want out, don't comment or (preferably) leave a note and we can delete no problem.
  
• We'll try to help you as far as clarifying who wins who, but this will primarily be left up to player discretion. Use of ((OOC NOTES)) is highly recommended as RNG will not be involved. Unless. You want it to.

Have the most undignified shriek in the world as Blacky manages to get herself caught on Kieran's antlers and dragged along for a riveting adventure of destruction.

Milimili procured a bucket of popcorn from out of nowhere just to observe this with a delicious treat.

Awwwww! It didn't work! Maybe he pressed the wrong button? ...He didn't have more time to think much less do because OH JEEZ that was totally a ONE-DEER STAMPEDE tearing across the stage. What was even his deal?! At this rate, he was going to trample Seth! And then he was going to be trampled himself! OH MY GOOOOODDDDD Before he could tenderize the fallen auctioneer with his hooves, Pit dove for his tasered body and lifted him from the unpredictable path. He jumped away from the fray.

But then Kieran's haphazard charge put Blacky right into the danger zone too and this deer was so wild that there was no time for anything and before anyone probably knew anything she was strung on his antlers like Christmas tinsel. It was also from this advantageous perspective that Pit could see precisely why this deer was running amok. Argh, I'm such an idiot! Which button did I press? If only Seth were in commission right now, because he was the key to understanding this confounding contraption and the longer he was out of it, the longer this shock treatment would have effect! And he didn't want to know what would become of Blacky! His heart could barely take any of this.

"Seth, Seth! Are you okay?" he asked as he held him bridal-style at the edge of the stage. He was only tasered, right? He'd be back in a flash, right? He was conscious, right? "WE NEED YOU SETH!!!"

"ALSO COULD SOMEONE PLEASE CONTAIN THAT DEER!? THANK YOU!" He had no idea it was sweet, gentle Kieran.

Seth had, of course, only concerned himself with his own plight and opened his eyes to find himself free from that infernal taser, and in the arms of a true savior.

"Oh," Seth sighed and cupped Pit's cheek, "Angels do exist."

A quick glance over there revealed the other chaos he hadn't concerned himself with.

"And also, YES. SOMEONE TAKE CARE OF THAT WILD AND RECKLESS ANIMAL THIS INSTANT! Where is that remote...?"

"Uhh," fumbled Pit, stupidly distracted and flattered. Then, he returned to the havoc at hand. "Oh! Quick, Seth! That deer- he must be one of the students or something- his collar is shocking him and you need to stop it!" He presented him with the remote control.

"And free Lash while you're at it! She's been electrocuted for way too long!"

Still, it wouldn't do any good to have all these foaming, convulsing bodies mucking up the stage and being useless. Seth pressed another button the remote and sure enough the shock therapy session ended.
