The Charmeleon call out caught Bulba completely off guard, and he realized just how easy it was to slip back into being a nervous, little Bulbasaur that wasn't quite sure what to do with his brother. Some things were harder to change, apparently. Bulba kind of hated that. Just one more evidence of how much he was still a dumb kid.

As much as he might have worried he really did know that this wasn't an issue of not being liked by the Charizard. Everything that had happened to cause this conversation in the first place wouldn't have even happened if he didn't, right?
His hand lingered at the base of his neck and he gave a short sigh. "Okay, okay, you win." Bulba wouldn't sit in or around your room in an awkwardly worried fashion. One small victory (?) for Char. "I'm going back to my room though, so..." So that victory (???) was not as complete as Char would have liked (?!). He was stuck with a motherhenning Ivysaur for a while longer.
