Max was tired of all of this runaround, stressful world of concerns that he was currently inhabiting, a place where he was still on bad relations with Vinnie and Sasha was a who-knows-what.

He walked to the gym with a heavy heart. Even weightlifting was becoming slightly cumbersome. What a terrible feeling this was, to have life's greatest joy become a chore.

More to himself than anything else, and surely there was no-one hanging off of a rooftop or anything to overhear him, "Sometimes I wish I was a pokemon. It'd be easier if I was. Everything. You know. If I was a pokemon."

Just the words of a simple man with his simple thoughts thinking simple things.

((OOC: Post a time and a place to meet with... ... ...this guy. Though I would like to save the first encounter for Char. And then everyone else.))

"And what've you been doin'?" Max asked, for polite naked-time communication.

"The usual," Parakarry calmly replied as scissors snipped at the pants in his hands. "School, delivering mail, the typical."

Well, he was also in love for a day, was kidnapped, and would soon find out he was signed up for a beauty pageant but clearly did not make fascinating conversation. No, siree!

"You think these tattoos look good on me?" Max asked.

He wanted to know.

"I never thought about gettin' ink before."

Parakarry squinted at them before saying "I think that they look okay on you."

Parakarry did indeed find his tattoos nice if not a bit excessive. Likewise he felt the piercings were a tad too much but he wasn't about to argue with someone who could turn him into a koopa flambe.

"To be honest, I doubt I would be able to go through with getting a tattoo or an earring."

"Well, it ain't like I had to do none of that," said Max.

"I just sorta. Had them."

"Not that I couldn't get them on my own. 'Cause I could."

Yes, Max. Inform him that you're manly. He clearly had forgotten.

"I know."

Parakarry busily snipped away fabric. "I don't think I'd be able to go through with having holes pierced in my ears or the point of a tattoo pen against my skin."

He shrugged. "I don't think I would be able to pull off an earring or a tattoo either."

Parakarry was slightly manly but he sadly paled in comparison to Max.

"Eh, you could probably pull off an earring. Don't think you could do the chin stuff or the eyebrow stuff or the... nipples like I do."

That last bit sounded slightly less cocky and self-sure than the rest. More sort of disturbed.

Parakarry shuddered at the mental image of having his nipples pierced and with frowny faces.

"Ugh...yeah, I think I would avoid getting nipple piercing." Parakarry set his scissors down and picked up a bobbin of thread with a needle stuck in it.

Parakarry smoothed out the end of the thread with his lips and then squinting, he tried to string the thread through the eye of the needle. After a shaky hand caused him to slip up, he succeeded the second time.

"Yeah, I don't know why I got that done," Max said. IT'S TONI'S FAULT

"How much longer is this gonna take?" he asked, even though Parakarry's clearly only been doing this for like five minutes.
