Who: EVA, Canas, Daroach, and YOU.
What: Library log.
Where: ...the library.
When: January 23rd to February 20th, 8AM-5PM. Closed on Sundays.
Warnings: So many books.

[I am currently working on a revamped, detailed description of the library. But here are a some things you should know: the library is a MASSIVE brick building with one entrance. Total, the building is 3 and a half stories tall. There is a large front desk to your immediate left upon entering, computers in the center, and the labyrinth of staircases, moving armchairs, and bookcases upon bookcases is primarily to the right and on the upper levels.

Every wall of the library, including those right behind the front desk, is covered in bookcases. There's a large window at the back of the library that lets sunlight in. There are two drop bins in the library, one by the door and one by the front desk. Behind the desk is a small office which EVA keeps to herself with a special key (sorry Daroach and Canas), but most of the important stuff is at the front desk anyway.

Despite having some pretty snazzy computers, the library still operates the old-fashioned way. You know, with these cards in every book, and a written file on every card-holder.

As far as navigating the library, the stories contain as follows: First floor is primarily fiction (excluding untranslated foreign literature), children's non-fiction and fiction, manga, magazines, and the like. The second floor is entirely non-fiction, other than children's non-fiction and religion. Third floor is untranslated literature and trashy romance novels. The half floor houses the religious non-fiction and any religious text, as well as the restricted room. Which contains black magic spellbooks. And Harry Potter.

• This is optional, but it would help if you would please put the date and the time and/or time of day in the subject line of your comment.
• If you would prefer a particular librarian (EVA, Canas, or Daroach) please specify along with your date/time in the subject line! Otherwise we will take turns.
• The library opens at 8 in the morning and closes around 5 in the evening. Every librarian is usually in and out throughout the day. The library is closed on Sundays.
• Add an OOC note for solo logs. ALSO! Logs between two (or more) characters (not including the librarians) in the library is cool/encouraged!
• Prose or action are fine. Whatever you're more comfortable with.

I think it is a one-sided feeling then.

[EVA frowned to herself. Although it's a position she'd been in or put others in before, it wasn't something she would ever wish on Vianca.

She paused, then asked- perhaps a little boldly:]

Who?

[vianca]

[On a very basic sense, everyone could have been the answer. But they were talking about a very specific instance. Vianca paused another moment, but she had no reason not to tell EVA, especially when she was pretty sure the librarian knew her.]

Eli.

[EVA recognized the name. One of the library's regulars; an ill-tempered girl with an insane amount of purple hair. At first EVA thought Vianca was referencing someone she cared for, but didn't feel like it was mutual. She seconded-guessed this, and thought it might be the other way around.]

Eli? ...Has she been giving you trouble?

[vianca]

[The pikmin glanced up at her, giving a firm shake of her head.]

No.

[temptedthesnake]

[The librarian looked back at Vianca with a curious look. She'd assumed correctly the first time? But that meant... Her expression hardened slightly. Out of concern, really.]

Hm. How do you know her?

[vianca]

[That was a curious reaction. Vianca paused.]

We spoke on the network. She talks to me sometimes.

[temptedthesnake]

And you think she doesn't like you?

[vianca]

... She avoids me more often than not.

[tatyana]

[A personality clash, perhaps. From what little EVA knew about Eli, the only thing the two of them seemed to have in common was a passion for reading.]

But you want to spend more time with her?

[Why was on the tip of her tongue, but she held back.]

[vianca]

[And that's where Vianca became more unsure. She sat back, lowering her gaze again as she gave it some consideration.]

I don't know.

[temptedthesnake]

... What do you think of her?

[vianca]

[Vianca stayed quiet for a very long time.]

... There is more to her than she let's on. She can be very volatile, but she is also kind in her own way.

[She paused, considering the rest of her analysis from her previous observations.]

I do not think she knows who she can allow herself to be.

[temptedthesnake]

[EVA was patient with Vianca's silence. She resumed stroking the pale girl's hair, steadily and calmly. Patient as she was, there was a vague feeling of suspense that hung in the air up until Vianca spoke again.]

Mm? And what do you think that is?

[She was curious as to what Vianca saw in the other girl. Volatile, she could see. Kind, on the other hand, was a surprise.]

[vianca]

[She gave a small shrug.]

I don't know yet.
