After the Adventure in rescue Gamera from the vile, evil clutches of the national Pokemon dietary association (Lash had no idea if that was really their official name, she just liked to call them like that), the pique and need to go back to the fabled Pokelands made her decide that perhaps it was enough time for to waddle around and do nothing with a powerful team and perhaps get to work and get herself a few badges.

And like hell if she'd ask the Gym Leaders on campus! At least not right now, she'd need a bit of bling before asking the others properly again. Besides, from what she had been reading, Falkner's gym should be a cakewalk and it would be interesting to see if he remembered her at all, what with the strange nature of the school. Actually no, scratch that! He'd better remember her! No one forgot Lash.

The neotank flew up in the air. They'd be arriving in a around ten minutes, from what her instruments told her.

"Okay from what I've heard, most people are confused by Pokemon turning humans. So...probably best to stick to Pokemon for the most part. I should teach the rest of you morse code actually now that I think about it." Resting a hand on her chin, she looked at everyone sitting and grinned.

"We are going to completely obliterate them, tee hee hee!"

When you said being humans was important, the obedient little Skarmory used all his might to turn into a Pokemon.

Falkner was the first gym, Skarmory needs to try really hard!

"Skreee!"

"They prolly just hate the idea of us having these forms now too. But what the hell ever right? I'm ready to humiliate a few peeps man."

With that, Charlise gave a small shrug, placed her handheld into her backpack and placed that in storage before starting to undress, slowly, seductively... and then grin and stick her tongue out.

"Just fucking 'round haha!" with a grin and poof of smoke, she was drifting around the Neotank as her poke-form, just idling about.

"I hear that, chick. Gonna extirpate, abrogate and masticate these fools. " Yeah, big words; she'd been putting that education to use, if only to add another layer of complication to her lingo.

Clover stood, ready to make her own change, though she raised a brow at Charlise during her striptease. "Yo, save the hijinks-to-ensue for after the battle, airhead. Baby bird over there has got to keep focus-don't need a game of twenty questions going on beforehand."

With that said, accompanied by the clop of a hoof, she was back to being a bouffalant--glorious hair and all.

WHAT AWW CHARLISE. Alex was kind of looking forward for that. Do you see his disappointed face

"Whatever man." He said with a shrug and poofed into his bird form. He stood there with a slightly bored look on his face before he started preening at his feathers.

Well, she hadn't meant right now, right now, but heck, this was going to be so much fun she didn't care.

The ship/tank/diabolical machine touched down a short while later, the surprised gasps of the nearby populace of the town sounding like music to Lash's ears. Especially when she punched a button that made a huge horn go off.

"Clear the road, you idiots!" she said to no one in particular. The townspeople were only too happy to oblige. "Okay let's see. Potions. Check. Offical trainer's license. check. Belt with Pokeballs that I don't use but wear anyway. Check. Badass team that's going to obliterate a bunch of birds? Check."

Another press of a button, and the back door opened ominously (had Lash installed a smoke machine for maximum effect? Hell yeah. ) She stepped out and did a motion so they'd all follow her. Seriously the way she had made away with this presentation you'd think they were going to the fight the Elite four, not the first Gym Leader. But hey, nothing said motivating your team than treating them like superstars with smoke machines and laser lights as they climbed off. Wouldn't Falkner be surprised.

Especially, this bird. This tiny litte bird next to big and bads. We are so going to do this. Skarmory tried to look as badass as everyone else.

I saw his face of disappointment, but maybe he can ask her really really nicely for a private show!

Charlise had a mischievous grin on her face, there was a certain air of familiarity about all of this and she was ready to wreck some people up... Somehow, she even felt like she was part of this team.

Looking intimidating (see: awesome) came easily for Clover; at least she thought so. She didn't even have to try--if you were a bouffalant and didn't look badass as a default, you were clearly doing something wrong.

And she was doing everything right, damn it.

Alex was always intimidating. Or so he tried to present himself. Not that he did. He flew out of the tank and followed after the rest of the team before landing on the ground to give a good fearsome glare at the bystanders that were still around.

An official Pokemon match was long over-due for Alex, so he was actually pretty excited for this gym fight.

The sight was certainly something for the spectators that had gathered, first from the Pokemon that were not native to this area, until they saw Zapdos. There were a few hushed whispers, the townspeople pointing at him. The legendary god of thunder? Here? To fight Falkner?

It had to be a Ditto.

Their logic was sound. Sorry Alex.

As they went inside the gym provide a few interesting challenges, having to walk on wood over what looked like an eternal abyss. It was in reality a test of the trainer's mind, as the floor was much more closer than the trick of the light and the mirrors made it appear. Still, one could think they were tethering dangerously near a dark chasm to infinity.

...not that Lash really minded, considering her CO powers. They quickly got their their first opponent.



"Hello Trainer! I am Bird Keeper Abe! Let me see if you are good enough to face off against Falkner!" And thus, he produced two Pokeballs, who popped out nothing exciting but a Spearow and a Fearow.

...well this was going to end terribly for poor Abe.

"Who wants to go?" Lash asked, trying to hide her laughter. Really? Really that's all he had?

Skarmory jumped right in front. He was so determined to be a strong, full fledged Skarmory for Mommy. Even though he was still a midget.





This was gonna go well.

Really? I mean REALLY? Are these dudes even taking our team seriously? They must not be... And that made Kitty rather aggravated, but it looked as if the squirt was up and ready to go. He'd let him handle it, after all, just recently he was looking to prove himself...

Charlise simply floated impatiently but didn't move forward, she was beyond this scrub, her sights were set much higher.

Okay, she had to admit that it was pretty bogus that dude brought only that to the table. She wasn't going to say it was going to be a solid victory because she had hope. Hope that every fight would be a struggle to win, at least a bit. If you didn't earn your victory, then what was the point?

Zapdos pooped

Skarmory, this was your chance to prove your worth to the Zapdos' eyes!

Alex stood in the back, preening his feathers, not exactly really reading the minds of the bystanders who thought Alex was a fake.

Well thankfully for the much stronger Pokemon, this was just the first guy. And excellent material for Skarmory to practice.

"Okay Skarmory!" she told him, dramatically moving her arms for no reason, still trying not to laugh. "Do your best!"

His opponent waited for Lash to give him an attack he should do but Lash knew to trust her Pokemon to do its own decision. Besides, Skarmory needed the practice.
