(no subject)

Who: Sheik and YOU.
What: Nocturnal fun times.
When: April 14th-April 21st, night.
Where: EVERYWHERE.
Warnings: Sneakin' around.

Zelda just seemed to have the worst luck with boys. Link was here, but he wasn't her Link. Marth departed, and now Meta Knight was gone too. She'd never been one to take this kind of stress and heartache very well (it was confusing and she did not like it), so the easiest thing to do in times like this was to be someone who was not Princess Zelda.

Of course, she had her front to keep during the day, and she carried on as always, eagerly awaiting the nights when she could magic on her (extremely convincing mysterious ninja boy) disguise and cavort about on rooftops.

So that was exactly what she would do.

Warren was a Persian. A cat. No matter how much he toiled over perfecting the art of transformation between Human and Pokemon, to control himself in either form as appropriate to whatever was his internal agenda, he would oblige his cat instincts more often than not. He did not feel particularly inclined to break his farce of pretending to be just some news editor boy from FDC with some kind of bindi accenting his forehead. He did not want to oust himself quite yet.

But tonight, there was something on his agenda, and it involved a faint trail of blood dripping from the forest, up the side of the main building and onto the roof. It was a trail marked by very faint droplets, something that would likely be washed away by the next rain but to the keen eye, it was glistening in the moonlight and still warm.

You find on the roof, a cat on his period. On the edge of the roof was a three-clawed mark, made as the creature or person hauled themselves on top of the roof. There was also a smear of blood, as if the bleeding thing rubbed up against the edge.

The blood trail continued across the roof and lead behind one of the metal air conditioning ducts. There, was a shadowy, four-legged creature with what appeared to be three red eyes. There was something trapped in it's jaw, and it was clearly the bleeding thing.

"kaa...!" A squeaky cry came from the beast, although one might imagine how it could possibly be making a sound with it's jaw firmly latched onto it's prey.

"...pi!" Another strained, hoarse, squeaky cry for help, and the identity of the victim became a little clearer as the beast lifted its head, sensing a sneaky visitor. It held by the throat in its jaws, a Pikachu. Still alive, but not in good condition.

There was a twinkle of mischievousness in those red eyes as it looked at Shiek peering around the edge, then crunched on the Pikachu's throat a little tighter. The rodent weakly squirmed and struggled to breathe.

Warren was not going to take a punch and bounded off the main building roof and onto the grass in a single leap, landing with cat like grace on his feet and without a sound. He was however, extremely surprised by the speed of his visitor. He felt a swell of air brush by the fur of his tail as he narrowly escaped.

Now, the chase was on and he seemed to know where he was going. He ran along the side of the main building and dragged the poor Pikachu in his mouth along the wall as he ran, leaving a clear red, waving trail for Sheik to follow. He held his tail high in the air with mischievous delight, as if to say follow me if you dare.

It could be a student and it could be begging and pleading for you to save it, mysterious hero. The creature bounded across the grass then took a sudden turn into the courtyard, victim still tightly gripped in it's mouth and dangling helplessly with every movement.

What is normally a bright, sunny, open courtyard is now covered in the strange, slow-dancing shadows of clouds passing over the moonlight. It was eerily quiet, but rustling movements could be heard if one listened closely, as if the creature was excitedly prowling around in a large circle. Prowling and plotting.

Then it stopped, and became very quiet before there was movement on the fountain's edge.

"chu..." The Pikachu was there slumped over, alone, and with no sign of it's predator.

She would find the bloodied Pokemon's tail to be wet, as if it had been drooping into the fountain, threatening to fall backwards into it before she rescued it. The Pikachu was also cold and shivering, clearly on it's last strings, but fighting to hold onto them. It clung to Shiek weakly as she sprinted away, and then started squirming. The very hairs on the back of it's neck stood up, as if it could sense some kind of impending doom.

Impending doom was not terrible far away, the occasional rustle or intentional intimidating sound of something stalking the mysterious hero.

Having no cover or foliage to sneak around in was a disadvantage in one respect, and in another it was what Warren was hoping for; that wide, open grassy trek before grass gave way to trees and then trees would bow before towering buildings and a concrete jungle where there would be no escape.

In such an area, he made no effort to hide himself, and broke out into a run to keep pace, paws thumping across the ground and making his presence quite known. The third red eye, the middle one, (if that was an eye) was glowing and whatever warning the Pikachu had been trying to give finally came to fruition.

Out in the open, the mysterious hero was a prime target for a thunderbolt--or more specifically, the slightly wet rodent Shiek was holding was the target.

This would have been a wonderful opportunity to kill two birds with one stone--or two targets with one bolt, at it were. Mr. Mysterious hero was down but one thunderbolt certainly would not be enough to take him out. The Pikachu on the other hand, had met it's end. The red-eyed beast trotted over with his tail held high in the air and decided to ensure it stayed dead.

Sinking his teeth and claws into it's neck, he tore the head off from the body. That simply wasn't enough however, and Warren just needed to play with his food. He rolled its head with so it would be greeting Sheik in the face with it's pained expression when she came to, then picked up the remains of the Pikachu's body in his jaw and shook it like a ragdoll, splattering as much blood as possible everywhere. Especially all over Sheik. When he was done, he spiked what was left of the rodent on Shiek's back, like a football to a touch-down.

Get up, Mr. Hero. I've giving you your favorite present--disappointment.

This death was no circle of life, no hungry animal simply hunting for food, but a deliberate and psychopathic murder... and Warren was enjoying every second of it.
