As the sun sets and the bells chime... [OPEN]
Who: Lt. Surge, Goose, ANYONE EVER
What: An wedding. An reception.
Where: The stadium, then a... a club hall? Yeah, screw your fancy dance halls and ballrooms. THIS is where it's at.
When: February 25th. Wedding takes place in the early evening, reception takes place at night.
Warnings: Depends on who shows up, but swearing's a given.
Smash Academy's stadium. Football games take place here, battles take place here, classes take place here, and now... a wedding takes place here? It's more likely than you think.
The Stadium is decked out in decor, some military-styled, some red/white/blue-schemed. (Guess which ones were set up by which groom?) A long, red carpet laid across the stadium with chairs at either side, stretching out to a small podium fit for a priest. Or... maybe not exactly a priest, but definitely someone legally able to wed a couple. Surge and Goose aren't quite the religious types anyhow. Thus, it was just a hired man registered by law to unite two given people in wedded bliss. It worked, at least.
The setting was pretty typical. It seemed as if they made sure it wasn't too sappy either, sans the... flowers against their will. (ERIKA...) What was this, though? There also appeared to be a radio at the side of the podium (Goose didn't exactly agree to lame ol' piano). There were also... were those fireworks? Seriously? Why were those there? Hmmmm.
Well, regardless, the scene was set. It was all just a matter of the guests arriving and then getting the show on the road.
((OOC // There will be four official threads from here. After the final thread, the reception arrival, is posted up, people will then be free to make their own threads for the reception. Just as a note!))

LET'S START THE WEDDING!
He actually... really liked the thought. He was beyond beaming today.
But enough about sitting inside and getting himself ready. He was fine, he thought, as he tried to stray from the mirror. He kept looking back as he did. Was his hair fine? No loose ends or anything? Was the outfit (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v618/Shadow_Angel_Umbreon/weddanoutfeetcolor.png) [don't mind the crappiness it is pretty old art actually ahhh] as wrinkle-free as possible? Was everything intact? Was his fly open? Everything seemed to be in order, and the impulsive part of him told him to get the hell out there. The rest of him, however, wanted to be sure.
Eventually, as usual, the impulsive part won.
Out he came. His foot touched that red carpet, and his eyes darted up to inevitably find his fiance- soon, his husband- standing at the altar and waiting for him.
He wouldn't easily admit it, but it made his heart flutter.

AND THEN...
"Hey, momma!" The pilot grinned wildly. "Show 'em the grand finale!"
The woman, apparently Goose's mother, smirked almost devilishly, surprising for her demeanor. Like son, like mother. "Sure thing, sugar-bunch! Hey, ya'll, check this out!"
And so she lit them. And the radio turned on.
ARRIVAL: THE RECEPTION!
The club was looking lively and bright. More than lively and bright. Perhaps one may even say it could grant the receptiongoers a bit of a nasty headache. Regardless, here it was in all of its glory. The music that played was usually of the ravers' sort, but on occasion, a little slow dance slipped its way through there. (That... was Mrs. Wauna's fault. Blame her.) The place had any kind of food one could possibly imagine, from typical Southern food to some more traditional wedding food. Along with that, some more casual food could even be found, too. Can't be a thunderbird wedding without pizza and burgers.
Oh yeah, and there was also a big wedding cake. (http://image06.webshots.com/6/0/77/21/79707721vHTHLU_ph.jpg) It's red velvet cake. Guess who ordered it?
The newlyweds entered the reception room first, ready to greet their guests. Mingle with the grooms! Congratulate them! Punch them in the balls! (Okay maybe not that part.) Or maybe just... get a plain ol' greeting from them. Anything!
((OOC // And that's it for the main threads! From here, anyone's free to make whatever threads they want (though this still includes Lizzi and I, of course). Socialize! Eat cake! Dance! Enjoy traditional or untraditional wedding activities! Get party favors! Give gifts! Cause havoc! Go hog wild from here!))
