Surprise!
Who: Oscar, Volgin, BREAKFAST
What: Oscar has a home invasion.
Where: Oscar's place, TD-32
When: Monday, December 20th, continued from here.
Warnings: Hueg Russian Mouth Alart
And woe be to that which is not Ivan that wakes the drugged behemoth on a couch that is not his in a dorm room that is very much not his.
Whenever Oscar awakes, Volgin had not budged an inch from his spot or position, very much passed out and snoring. Because of the lung issues inflicted by Vinnie's spores, this snoring is unfortunately a bit audible.
Yes, indeed, Oscar has a visitor. The door was still open even.

Yes, indeed, Oscar has a visitor. The door was still open even.

Slipping through the door to his room, the green knight stopped short. There really was someone in his dormitory, and even from behind the couch, he could tell the guest was there. Already adjusted to the dark, Oscar rounded the couch, expecting someone just as giant as a laguz royal. That is what he saw, indeed. He stared, his mouth slightly agape.
Quickly, he turned around to click the door shut before warily approaching the sleeping man. Should he awaken him? he wondered. His hand hung in the air, hesitating.

Even more fashionable, a small line of drool trickled from the corner of his mouth.
And it seemed certain he was not going to be moving any time soon.
no subject
He seemed pretty intimidating, even in his sleep, though. Oscar expected a temper.
The mercenary approached the sofa for the final time, stopping at the end of the couch closest to Volgin's head. He softly nudged the giant's shoulder. "Um... sir?" he said softly.
no subject
It did get him to move the thick arm across his face and drape it along the back of the couch.
A small note of progress.

"Hello...?" he questioned. "Are you... alright?"
no subject
It was very green.
Why was Ivan wearing his uniform?
"Ivan...?" In Russian. "Is that you? What are you doing, dressed up like that? You keep telling me... we're not in the military anymore."
no subject
"Ivan...?" he repeated. That seemed like a name, but he couldn't be sure. "Sir, I don't understand. Sorry."
no subject
Yeah, he blinked, yeah, that was not his Ivan. Not at all.
This was someone else.
"What you doing," he harshly articulated in rough English. Words still slurred with his grammar. "My house. The house is mine."
The Soviet tilted his head. "Ivan hire you? As cleaner? Maid?"
no subject
He didn't know what else to say.
no subject
You know, he might be right, said the tiniest of specks in his gut.
That speck was quickly executed.
The Russian made direct eye contact with the green knight again:
"Oh."
With that out of the way, Volgin settled back down again on this perfect stranger's couch. He draped a limb over his face.
"I see."
no subject
"So... what brings you here?" he asked, crossing his arms loosely.
no subject
He would never say it, of course.
no subject
"Do you need something?" he asked. Oscar intended to be hospitable if he could, mostly because it was the way he did things.
no subject
(He was not ... seeing eyes, here.)
"Ivan," he grunted before hiding away his battered face once again.
no subject
no subject
"Where."
no subject
"I... have never met him," he said. "I'm sorry."
no subject
He clung to the couch instead.
"He exist, you idiot," he spat, with all the appropriate treatment towards a host, his English stressing and intonation all wrong. A large hand clutched his head. "I talk to Ivan other day. Two day. Ago." In Russian: "No one knows anything around this damn school."
no subject
"Oh, I believe you," he said, shaking his head. "I'm new here, is all." He contemplated sitting on the couch with him, but that would be a bad idea, he guessed.
