Who: Morty and whoever shows
What: Ghost Stories round the Camp Fire ~
Where: back of the school
When: Oct 31st ~ a little after sunset and till whenever
Warnings: depends who shows. Creepypasta.
Near the back of the school, near the woods, Morty has set up a –fairly large so to accommodate however many people show up – campfire circle. When you arrive, the fire is already crackling in the center and Morty is lounging at a ... more than comfortable distance away from the fire, on one of the logs wearing a loose yukata he managed to save from his recent ... prank (like the icon. Plus a pipe. And if you saw him earlier, he was dressed as Koga).
Smoke from the fire and and Morty is already clouding the air a bit. There's a waver in the air besides the smoke, as his Gengars pass through the area unseen. They'll be there the whole night, just to add to the atmosphere or mess with whoever shows.
He’s waiting for people to show up ~ He wants to hear everyone’s stories.
[[okay so. Just like in his first class log – there’s going to be separate threads for everything. He’s going to start off with his story which you can respond to, but then it’s up to ~you guys and your characters~ to post more stories. Start new threads with your character telling a story or any type of shenanigans you want! Morty will pipe in occasionally with another story, but he’s mostly there to listen and be a big creepalso I am going to be out for a lot of halloween so .. sob. If you give permission, his Gengars may also harass your character at any time. And any format is fine for this.

Starting this off right with GHOST
[Seeing that a good number of people have shown up, Morty settles comfortably onto his log, clears his throat, and takes a deep breath.]
So I’ll start this ~ I have an interesting tale ... a legend of a Pokemon Trainer who was revered to be one of the best trainer’s because of his ace pokemon, but also came to his untimely demise because of this pokemon.
He started his journey normally, with a started from Professor Oak’s lab, but somehow in ways unbeknown to us or even the trainer himself – he ended up with a pokemon named “GHOST.” It was an odd pokemon, one no one had ever seen before and it appeared to be weak since it was level 1 and had only one attack.
However, that one attack was all it needed. In pokemon battles, the other pokemon could not attack it – they were too paralyzed by fear. When GHOST used it’s one move, Curse, the effects were instantaneous. It was essentially … killing the other pokemon. The trainer slowly realized that he could use Curse not only one pokemon, but on other trainers too.
And he did. [Morty frowns]
He continued using GHOST and Curse throughout his entire journey. By the time he got to the Elite Four, he had already ‘cursed’ all of the gym leaders and finally his Rival. [He looks at Green if he's there]
The legend gets a little ... distorted after that. There are many versions about what happened after the trainer beat the Elite Four with just his GHOST and some other pokemon. But they all imply the same thing; even after he beat the Elite Four, he continued taking on battles and cursed every pokemon and trainer alike.
Years passed like this, and he soon grew to be an old man alone in the world. He’d taken them all out.
One day, though, he returned home. He entered his house where he was assaulted by images. The image of a ...Caterpie. A Metapod. An onslaught of pokemon that were all the pokemon he had ever Cursed during his journey. His rival’s team was the last to appear and when the last pokemon faded out, a series of images started again. A youngster, a big catcher, all the trainers he had used Curse on as well.
The trainer fell to the images and just when he thought it was all over, GHOST appeared to him yet again. Except GHOST was no longer on his side.
He could not escape. But how does a human fight a Pokemon? He could only Struggle, which did nothing but hurt the trainer himself. GHOST just seemed to watch him, never attacking and only letting the trainer continue to struggle against himself. Up until the trainer was at the point where he was almost killing himself did GHOST finally used .... Curse.
And well... and that was the end of the trainer.

This can't be real, though, because the elite four is still here. Or is this referring to an elite four - and gym leaders - that once were?

That's for you to decide. Though [and now he's smirking a bit] it's very possible that it is. Gyms and the elite four go through people just as any job. I wasn't the first, nor the previous, nor am I going to be the last gym leader of Ecruteak.
