[Open] Smile!

Who: Spinrak, anyone
What: She goes around and smiles.
Where: Around school
When: Friday the 22nd. All day
Warnings: Creepy smiles for everyone.

After the talk with Sasha, Spinarak felt a lot better about herself. She had always thought her smiles were too scary to show to others, but after the compliments the Charizard had given her she felt as though she could smile more openly. Not that she'd smile at the mirror. No, she still couldn't handle looking at her own smile. Practice makes perfect, right? She was going to go and smile at everyone.

[ooc: Just put the day (and location, if you want) your dude would run into Spinarak! It'll mostly be a conversation or something! \o/]

"So...I can practice...talking more..." Spinny replied, having the sock puppet mouth along with what she spoke. "To practice having less pauses...between words..."

Reading textbooks out loud wasn't making a lot of progress except with her taking so many breaks after almost every word. She hoped some sort of voice acting would do the trick!

"WHAT'S SO WRONG WITH... HAVING PAUSES BETWEEN WORDS? HUH?" Ulki punted her.

He nodded slowly. "I suppose that makes sense," he mumbled, unable to break his staring contest with the little sock puppet. "Do you... have trouble speaking because you're not familiar with the language?" the laguz asked then, peeling his gaze from the sock puppet and focusing back on the green-haired girl.

"But that's because I pause too much I want to have less pauses." Spinny cried.

Spinarak gave a nod. Pokemon obviously didn't talk in the same language as humans did, even if they were to understand the human language. "I can under...stand... but have trouble...speaking..." Especially pronouncing the longer words and long sentences.

She had the sock puppet mouth what she said, although it wasn't still in sync. Hmm, she needed some more practice with this.

Ulki noticed the sock puppet's terrible mouth movement, but he didn't respond to that. The laguz looked to the ground, then past Spinarak's head. "Ah. I understand." And he did. He remembered when the White Prince was first taken into Phoenicis' kingdom: the young heron stumbled over words left and right. It was probably similar to this.

"With time... you will be able to speak easier," Ulki assured her.

Spinarak gave a nod. Practice made everything better! That was how she was able to learn how to walk as a human!

"I will...get better..." She said, making a guts pose to show determination.

The hawk laguz nodded in return; whether she would or not, however, he would see. Perhaps someday she would.

"You had better get to class," Ulki warned her suddenly. With the slightest upturn of his expression, he added, "...You wouldn't want detention, would you?"

He didn't look so hot when he smiled, either.

Oh boy! Like father, like daughter!

Oh, right! Break time was about to be over. She gave a nod and a wave with her sock puppet'd hand. "I'll...be going...to class..."

...Although, she didn't mind going to detention again...

Ulki waved, seeing her off. Once she left, the laguz wondered: what was he doing again...?
