Just your everyday tour

Who: Rhys & Mia. Possible interferences.
What: It's Rhys' turn to give a tour. I hope he doesn't get lost. 70% chance of success.
Where: Round and round campus we go! Where we stop, nobody knows!
When: Backdated to... December 12th. Afternoon!
Warnings: HARDCORE SEX, FIGHTING, AND A MIXTURE OF THE TWO DOOP DOOP no warnings here. Or maybe there should be but we haven't realized it yet.

Today was a perfect day for a tour, sans the biting cold air, of course. Rhys made sure to put on extra layers to combat the uncomfortable chill of late autumn. It was quite the pleasant shock to find Mia in this very school. He dwelt often in thoughts surrounding his dear friends back home, so she was a welcome addition. Never mind how much she tended to overwhelm him at times- he was used to all that. Now he was about to remind himself how it felt to be in her presence once again.

Hopefully she would be home. He knocked on her door and waited for signs of life stirring inside the apartment.

From her previous travels, Mia had learned to travel light. She had never been the type who needed much, and unless it was a shiny new weapon, Mia never really experienced a desire for material things. However, it might not have seemed that way, the way she had her few posessions littered about the room. It had been a long time since she had lived in a room long enough to develop healthy habits of maintaining it. And so, all of her possessions were spread around the room rather haphazardly, out in the open for anyone to see.

This is why, when she heard a knock on the door, she almost tripped on the thick cloak she had been wearing outside since she got here. And there are a few loud questionable noises as she stumbles around flailing to keep her balance, and then finally manages to kick the garmet out of the way with her foot. Picking herself up rather quickly, she makes it to the door and flings it open.

"Oh!" She smiled brightly. "Hey Rhys!"

Mia grinned. She had been looking forward to the tour a great deal. Of course she could have figured it out on her own eventually, although goddess only knows how long 'eventually' would last. But where was the fun in that?

"Great, great!" She said, letting go of the door. "Sure, just let me go grab my cloak." Mia turned around and had to pause a second. "Now where did I just toss that thing..." Picking it up from the corner, she brushed it off and put it on.

"Ready now! Lead the way!" Mia said, bounding out the door, and closing it behind her.

As they walked from her room towards the exit, she fell into companionable silence, a rarity for her. Unlike the rest of her friends, Rhys was both someone she enjoyed sharing her excitement with and someone she felt she could relax around, although the second happened much less than the first.

"Doesn't matter to me." She responded, stretching her arms behind her back. Grey sky or blue, it didn't matter to her much. It was going to be a good day, she felt. Patting him on the back she added, with a big smile, "You're in charge today, Rhys."

The idea that this concept was probably new to him had crossed her mind. However, that was the fun part. Today she was planning on just going with the flow in her own way.

Mia blinked, her feet shuffling along as they walked. "Completely slipped my mind. Guess I should go find out when we're done. This all still feels really new to me." She laughed. "You'll show me where you're teaching at, right?"

"Great!" To her it didn't matter much what it looked like as long as it served it's purpose. More important to her was just knowing where it was.

She followed his gaze to the fountain and her eyes widened happily. "It is." Mia said, nodding enthusiastically. "But I dunno, I think it's really pretty all covered in snow." Then again, Mia was the type who didn't have a favorite season. "Each season has it's own form of beauty, don't you think? Still, I suppose I do look forward to seeing it in spring." It would be a wonderful place for sparring, she thought, but on this, she didn't ask Rhys if he agreed, knowing full well that he wasn't all that fond of that kind of talk.
