Hot tubbing!

The sound of a pool alone was what made Misty gleeful upon arriving to this school. However, her joy increased into a state of delirious excitement once she heard that there was also a hot tub here. Not only that, but Daisy was showing it to her! Misty intended on more than that, though; she was going to be using it. Whether or not Daisy would join her was up in the air for now, but it'd be great if she did.

Ah well! She wouldn't mind if she hot tubbed alone. It'd be a relaxing experience anyway.

She walked over to the dorm room complex, having to look up the list of dormitories and their residents. After locating Daisy's, she headed over and knocked on her door. Oh yes, did I mention Misty was parading around the dorm room complex in this manner while she was in her bathing suit to get to Daisy? Yes. Clearly, Misty has no problems with going around in just a swimsuit. She did it all the time!

When she heard the knock at her door, Daisy got up to answer it. "Hello?" she asked. When she saw Misty standing there, in full swimsuit, she asked, "Oh, you want to go see the hot tubs now? Just let me go get changed!" She shut the door behind her.

"Yeah, remember?" Misty laughed a little, wondering if Daisy had forgotten that they set the day up for today. "But sure, I can wait!" She leaned against the wall and looked down the hallways at both sides. It shouldn't take her too long!

"I remember!" She called out from inside. "Just didn't expect you yet!" A few moments later, she opened the door, getting out in an orange bikini and holding a towel. "Let's get going!" she declared, pointing the way.

"Oh, sure!" Misty nodded, heading outside of the dorm. "So you really like the hot tub? Are as much of a water lover as I am?" She laughed, clearly very biased when it came to water, water sports, and pretty much anything in between.

"Well, I don't know if I'd call myself a water lover, but I love swimming! And I like hot tubs! I arranged to have it installed for a friend's birthday," she explained as they left.

"Oh," Misty would call that close to enjoying the water, but it seemed pretty obvious that Daisy might not appreciate the good ol' H2O as much as she did. "That's a shame, I love the water! I always like swimming, fishing, boating, training water Pokemon..."

She trailed off when she realized that this girl might not even know what Pokemon were. Or did she? Maybe she did because of the abundance of Pokemon and trainers at the school. There was still that chance, though.

"Oh, do you know what Pokemon are?"

"Oh, sure!" she said. "I've met a few of them here too! So you're a trainer?" she asked.

"I'm more than just a trainer," Misty stated, her hand subconsciously going down to her hip, where her Pokeball dangled off of her waist satchel (which she frequently wore when she had no pockets or a belt for her Pokeballs and such). "I'm one of Kanto's famed gym leaders! I focus on the water-type, but you probably already gathered that!"

"Awesome!" she affirmed. "I've actually met a gym leader before! His name's Green. You know him?"

Oho Green. Misty and Green were certainly... well-acquainted, alright. They bickered more than two grumpy and overreacting Seviper and Zangoose living in the same forest! (Well okay, perhaps not that much, but still.)

"Um... yeah!" She chuckled awkwardly, her smile beginning to wane a little. "We know each other sort of well, since we're both Kanto gym leaders."

Then she lowered her tone to a whisper, mostly toward herself. "And because of how pesky he gets with me."

"What was that?" she asked.

"Oh... nothing! Just thinking out loud," Misty made up an excuse. Well, it wasn't a lie, but it was also a good cover-up.

The subject was bound to be changed once they got outside ~~thankfully~~. "It's so nice out today! It's the perfect day for the hot tub, isn't it?" She stretched a little, feeling energized from the lovely weather.

"A little too chilly for me," Daisy reminded her. "Let's go hurry and warm up!"

"Sure!"

Misty rushed forward, looking around for the hot tub. She wasn't in a hurry because she herself was cold, though. She was pretty alright with the cold weather in this temperature. It was pretty cold, yeah, but she could deal. It was mostly because Daisy was getting too cold, and she herself, well, just wanted to hit the hot tub.

They soon made it to it, though. "Here we are!"

"Great!" Daisy said. When they were finally inside, she put down her towel and went to check the water. "Aah... I'm not completely used to the cold yet," she explained. "I'm from Sarasaland, and Sarasaland is mostly tropical with some deserts. I'm used to warm weather!"

"Really? Kanto has a bit of each, at least in Cerulean," Misty spoke. She wasn't too sure about most other cities due to not having gone to them very much. Such was the disadvantage from lack of widespread and long-term travel. "It gets pretty cold in winter sometimes!"

Once the water got heated up enough, she stuck her hand into it to check. It seemed good enough to her! "Oh, it feels really nice!" She immediately dipped her legs inside and slid down into the steamy water. Nice and relaxing!

Daisy followed after, slipping into the water. "Aaaaah, that's the stuff!" she said, leaning back and just sinking down to her neck, a bright and contented smile on her face. "Feels like home! So what's your home like?" she asked.

Misty sighed, leaning against the walls of the hot tub and nearly forgetting about everything else. That was until Daisy spoke up, though. Oh, right. "Oh yeah! My home is really nice," She spoke. "It's almost all surrounded by water! We have the bridge to the north, and even the world famous Pokemon PC creator lives past it. A lot of bikers show up there, too. We have one of the best bike stores in all of Kanto in Cerulean!"

She had plenty more to say about Cerulean, but that was about the gist of it.

"Sounds like a nice place to live!" Daisy said. "Hey, maybe one day you can visit Sarasaland, and I can visit Cerulean," she suggested.

"That sounds like it would be fun! You'd like Cerulean if I took you," Misty informed her, her mind already on a nostalgic trip to Cerulean Land. Oh boy oh boy. "I hope Sarasaland is nice, too! What else is it like?" Of course, she meant apart from being a tropical desert area.

"Oh, Sarasaland is a great place! Everyone is really wonderful! It actually consists of four realms. Birabuto is a desert, with ancient pyramids and everything. Muda is a seaside realm, lots of clear water and small islands. Easton is a more rocky place, with plenty of cliffsides and interesting stone sculptures from centuries ago. And Chai is an oriental realm, with plenty of interesting architecture."

Daisy, oh Daisy. You lost her after Muda. All she could think about was a beautiful seaside area with plenty of lush, green grass, bright alabaster sand, and the blue, blue tides that would wash up to shore. For a girl like Misty, that sounded like absolute paradise.

"That... sounds great! You have to take me sometime! I can pay for the trip," She offered. She'd definitely have to pay for something like this if it granted her such a stupendous sight. The idea of watching the sparkling ocean blue waves splashed onto the beach was far too appealing for her to ignore. ~~Besides, she IS loaded anyway, so she could definitely afford it.~~

"Oh, don't worry about that," Daisy told her, leaning back in the tub. "I'm sure there'll be another royal ball or something before long!"

Wait, royal ball? But she and Daisy are ~~SUPPOSEDLY~~ average people. Sure, Misty is a gym leader and all, but was that really acceptable enough to be invited to a royal ball? ~~She just doesn't knoooooow~~

"How do you think we'd be able to even go to a royal ball?" She questioned curiously.

"Easy. My dad's the king!"

Wait. Wait a minute.

If her dad was the king, then that could only mean one thing...

... Oh god.

"Wait, then... you're a princess?!" Misty didn't mean that in a bad way. She was actually pretty shocked and even honored to meet a princess. A real princess!

"I sure am!" Daisy told her. "Oh, sorry, I guess I didn't mention it before, huh?" she asked sheepishly.

"No!" Misty laughed, half-awkwardly due to her being so taken aback by this fact. This was very... new to her. "Wow... a princess... What is it like being a princess?" She was so curious now!

"It's great!" Daisy said. "Well, I don't really enjoy a lot of the girly party things I have to do, but it comes with the territory, y'know? When I was younger I wouldn't even wear a dress of my own volition!"

Oh boy, could Misty relate to that or WHAT? Daisy seemed to be quite the tomboy, just as she is. How perfect! "Really? I know! I don't like doing girly things either," She laid back a little and looked over to her friend. "I never wear dresses! I only have one and I don't like to wear it unless I have to."

"Well, I don't mind dresses anymore," she explained. "Just not the really elaborate, frilly stuff. As long as it's comfortable! I mean, I love my regular yellow dress. I guess it helped that my best friend is one of the girliest people you can meet," she laughed.

Okay, maybe they didn't have as much in common on that subject than she thought. Misty still hated dresses overall. Ah well, though, different strokes for different folks. "Really? Only one of my old friends are that girly!" She recalled. Out of Brock, Surge, Erika, Blaine, Green, Koga, Janine, and Sabrina, only Erika was very effeminate to her. Sabrina and Janine definitely weren't tomboys, that was for sure, but they didn't seem as feminine as Erika.

Gosh, she missed those guys. At least with Surge and Green around, a part of home was right here with her.

"My old friends are all Pokemon gym leaders, too, just like I am," She spoke. "Two of them are even here! There's Lieutenant Surge, too, not just me and Green." Thankfully. Green usually burned her out with his attitude, but at least Surge was a nice guy... uh, some of the time.

"Oh, neat!" Daisy replied. "So tell me, what are they like?"

"Well, you probably know how Green is by now," Misty spoke, as she thought, an egotistical pest with a SERIOUS attitude problem! But of course, she wouldn't bring that up to Daisy. She was a nice girl, so she wouldn't make her uncomfortable with that.

"Brock, Erika, and Janine are all very nice people! I think they're my favorites out of the rest of them!" She smiled fondly. "Brock loves rock-type Pokemon and rock hard defenses ~~but that means my water types are much better~~. Erika likes graceful grass types, and Janine's a ninja! She likes poison-types."

"Lt. Surge, well, you can meet him for yourself here! He lives off-campus. He's... really loud and crude sometimes, so he can be kind of pesky, but he's not a bad guy. He likes electric types. Sabrina's... okay and likes psychic-types, but she's kind of menacing. I haven't seen Blaine as much as the others, but he really loves riddles and fire-type Pokemon!"

Not that any of them could beat her water-types, though. Heck no.

"Sounds like an interesting bunch of friends there," she commented. "Bet they keep your life interesting!"

"More than interesting, they keep it mostly pretty exciting," Misty had to admit. Okay, maybe some weren't exciting like Green or Sabrina, but they still were a definitely unique bunch of people.

"Did you have any good friends back home? I know you mentioned someone girly!"

"Oh sure!" Daisy said. "My best friend is Princess Peach. She's the princess of the neighboring kingdom! We've known each other since we were little, and we're really close. She's the one who taught me I could still be feminine and not have to give up what makes me... well, me!"

Well, color Misty surprised. It was a shock enough that Daisy is a princess, but even her friend was yet another princess? Within a short amount of time, she went from thinking princesses didn't exist to them definitely existing. Not only that, but there were more than just one out there!

"Wow, she's... another princess? There's really more princesses out there?"

"Oh, sure! Plenty of them!" Daisy informed her. "Matter of fact, there's a few more going here too! Kumatora, Zelda, Lip..."

Woah-oah-oah. That was a lot of royalty under one building. This definitely intrigued Misty in multiple ways, the most prominent being her wondering if she could actually meet these people sometimes.

"That's really cool! I'm going to have to meet them sometime. Oh, if they don't mind," She told her, unsure of how the blue-blooded people within the school's walls would react to this.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about it!" Daisy reassured her. "They're all really nice people! Well, except for Wendy. She's a cruel, sneaky, whiny little bitch. But you'll know when you see her."

Oh boy, a cruel, sneaky, and whiny little bitch? Misty did nooot like dealing with those kinds of people. So much so that she blew up at them due to her incredibly short fuse.

"Ugh, then I know not to bother with her. I hate people like that," She huffed, folding her arms over her chest. "At least everyone else is nice, though, and not a pest like that." ~~Oh, typical Misty.~~

"Oh, don't worry about that! I'll introduce you around later, okay?" she offered.

"Alright!"

Misty then glanced up at the sky, realizing it was starting to get a bit too late for hot tubbing right now. She was enjoying herself, but it was about time to get out. "Oh, it's getting late, isn't it? We better get out!"

She began to pull herself out of the hot tub, and lent Daisy a hand to come out herself.

"Well, we definitely had a good soak!" she commented, taking Misty's hand and getting out. "We'll have to do this again some time!"

"We really do!" Misty took one of the towels and handed it to her. "I love hot tubs and I love the water, so I'll be here a lot. I know it," She told her, drying herself off a little.

"Looking forward to it!" Daisy said with a grin.

And with that, they parted ways to wait for the next time they would meet.
