Who: Fuel and Avi
What: once upon a time Lash made them dress up funny and then they played video games.
Where: A common room.
When: backdated forever(by which I mean to the end of October.)
Warnings: This is Fuel and Avi we're talking about, what do you think is going to happen.
This was really weird.
Well, okay, so actually getting to talk to Avi face-to-face and hang out and play video games was pretty cool. But Fuel was still dressed in some kinda weird uncomfortable penguin suit and he still hadn't really registered that Avi was actually a girl and was still cool come to think of it, so was Melissa, and Melissa was also pretty cool and all this was really quite confusing and he really wasn't supposed to be playing video games, was he? Were they really going to make him as dumb as Nester? That was a pretty long way to fall.
Oh well! He was never going to do anything new and fun and exiting if he only did what Lighter told him to.
But oh man was setting this up confusing. He might have tried once or twice, just to show that he knew what he was doing(even if he, of course, had no idea), though now, he'd walked back to the couch, defeated by the mystery of technology and wires, and sat down while Avi set up whatever it was they were going to play.

"OK! So I have some starter games we could play like Hello Kitty, Barbie Horse Adventure, Cooking Mama, and Gianna and Wendy at the Olympic Games..." Avi listed out the games. For beginners, indeed. The controls were very simple and anyone could pick it up and start playing. Well, she did have other games in mind, but they require a lot more getting used to and only hardcore gamers would want to stick around for them.

And stared.
Barbie Horse Adventure. Really, Avi? Really? Immediately, Fuel pointed at Gianna and Wendy- the game with the least amount of pink on the cover. "Do you really like these other games? They look really dumb."

"OK then! If you want something more fun, then how about..." She took out a few more games, one was a dancing game, another was a guitar-game but she didn't really want to play either of them because it would mean she'd have to go back to her dorm and get the guitar controllers and a fighting game.
"Which one do you wanna play?"

After looking over these new options Fuel finally picked up the fighting game, looking over the cover art for a few moments before holding it out with a grin.
"This one looks really cool!"
(ahurhur I am so clever with titles)
"What? Alley Brawler? Okay, sure!" She cheerfully responded, taking the game case to pop the CD into the system. The opening sequence came up and various characters appeared onto the screen before the title came up. Avi quickly pressed the buttons to get to the player select screen.
"You can pick first!"

Even if, by now, he'd been exposed to some of the wonders of animation and television and the like, this still took him by surprise. And it was really cool.
"Oh, uh... okay!" After a few moments trying to figure out how the hell to make the little selecty-box-thing move, and a little bit longer to figure out which button made it select. Once he did figure that out, though, he picked out the single biggest, toughest-looking guy he saw on screen.

"Okay, stage select! They're pretty much the same, so I'll just pick it!" She said, and picked an Asian-style, castle rooftop as the background.
"Oh yeah! These are the buttons you press for attack. They do two types of punches and kicks, and this button blocks the moves! The joystick lets you move the character around, and the combination of the buttons and joystick lets you use special moves!" Avi kindly(?) explained as she briefly demonstrated while the game loaded. One thing she didn't like about this game was the loading time was a little too long.
